Venting My father said im selfish, that i dont care about nobody but myself

Me and my father have always had a bad relationship, but we had recently gotten into a fight he basically I'm basically selfish and that I'm no use to anyone. This has triggered me to relapse , what should I'd do..?

my father also often says this to me out of anger, just don't listen to him, don't know what he's saying wrong (I know it's hard but try)

No parent should say that to their own child. He is probably projecting his own feelings about himself onto you. He might feel like he's selfish and of no use to anyone, and so everyone else's actions trigger him to remember how he feels about himself and he takes it out on you because it's easier than facing himself. That's how I see things whenever anyone says anything negative about me. It's usually about them.
