When I told my psychiatrist I didn't want to be here anymore she was just very curious and gentle. Made me feel like it was completely my choice. And either choice was ok. What a relief.

Yes, she was like, well if you do decide to give this life another try, you could try xyz. But no sense of alarm over me saying I was done or anything like that.

Yes, I think she realizes that if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it and no one can really change that and there's no sense in trying to change it. I think she recognizes that it's completely my choice what I do with my life. That's the only sane response to someone who is done. Any other response and the response I get from mostly everyone else is not at all sane.
