Most parents should be charged with crime!!

First off, this is in no way being negative to anyone on this forum that is currently a parent. I have respects and love for everyone on here. But just as a human being, I felt like ranting out of pure frustration

In society, we need to be tested and licensed before we can drive, be in certain professions/ jobs, get a firearm (at least in many countries), or even something as simple as getting a small few hundred dollar loan, we need different verification processes and sign multiple pages of terms & conditions agreements

However, for something as serious as bringing another human into this world, basically has absolute ZERO rules. Anyone can give birth to literally as many humans as you desire, no matter the circumstances. You could be mentally ill, immature, financially not stable, not in good shape/ health condition, complicated background/ family history, drug user, zero experience or idea how to even raise another human (especially when most people don't even truly know how to take care of themselves yet)....... but it is completely LEGAL and not regulated, for people to just keep non-stop breeding and giving birth to more humans

The other day I saw a YouTube video of a couple who has 4 autistic kids...... and yet the parents are trying to look for sympathy. Its like, did they not get the idea after the first kid, or even the second or third, all already having autism.... yet they somehow still had the idea of having a 4th kid??? Just to now have the 4th kid also autistic.

It is just pure disgusting of the type of selfishness and brainless involved, as many poor souls now have to endure endless suffering due to poor decisions from their parents. As I am typing this, I am deeply frustrated of the daily pain of life I have to endure non-stop, simply due to the fact of the decision my parents made a few decades ago, because they felt having kids is a nice idea to complete their own "fairy tale love story". Now I am simply forced to CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR F*CKING MESS 24/7.......... till the die I finally f*cking die, which I pray for every single night. Every night I go to sleep, I truly hope I won't wake up in the morning

I feel some parents should be charged with crime for their poor decisions. They need to be held accountable. Once again, I don't mean anything negative to parents who are on this forum. I just felt like ranting. Thanks for your understanding

It's always a crime. Biological parents give up the right to die when they want and should be punished for life - financial support and community service at the very least.

Now, you can dump your kid and there are no repercussions. People would think twice if they knew they'd be financially and legally responsible for the kid for his entire lifetime and that the child could sue them and land them in prison (if his life turns out particularly bad).

When something happens to a person, we should primarily blame the bio parents - currently they completely avoid this accountability, expect only sympathy.

I think that no matter the circumstances procreation is an incredibly selfish and cruel thing to do, it's tragic how people aren't aware enough to realise that existence is just an unnecessary harm, nobody who is not yet existing deserves to suffer. This species should realistically go voluntarily extinct, there is far too much unnecessary suffering in existing.

I don't even understand why people get the idea of having children when their own life is already shit. They only do this for selfish reasons, to have a higher status, to be someone. While their children are suffering.

Absolutely true. I recently heard a psychologist to say it too: "In short, it is very, very easy to abuse your children. It is very, very difficult to be (what Winnicott called) a good enough mother, or a good enough parent. And vast majority of parents fail. That's the truth. They fail. They are not good parents."

And many of the decent parents know it. They look at incompetent-ass parents, and refuse to act like them. They welcome people appreciating the difficulty of what they do

Honestly this is the way I feel too. I think it's so unbelievably selfish to have children unless you are truly doing it to provide a life for them - I would never have kids unless I really believed I was capable of doing the absolute best for them. And the fact that other people don't think this way is outrageous

I especially *love* (sarcasm) when people promote having children but then shun anyone who dares to disagree or challenge the way the world works. Or mock the trauma we go through as a result of being brought into the world.
