We forge the chains we wear in life.

I've been lurking on suicide watch lately and noticed some change, that a lot more people are openly talking about wanting to die, and what's more, even the comment sections are slowly being filled up with pro suicide people who feel the same - and all of that is on a reddit that should be doing the very opposite. I mean, a year ago or so I've only seen people commenting there how the OP should not do it and such, but now it's taking a different turn.

It feels to me like Humanity is kind of evolving and more and more people wish to die, I don't have any data to back this up, it's purely my feeling, but I believe that suicide rates are slowly rising in the world. Perhaps people are finally starting to acknowledge how pointless life really is?

Any thoughts on this?

I wouldn't call humanity wanting to die "evolving", but the world only seems to get worse with time, instead of improving, so it wouldn't surprise me if more people decided to die every new year.

i think of humans as parasites on the earth. since we have become aware that we are destroying our host, it makes sense that the more sensitive among us might want to die. i also think that conditions in the usa have become prohibitive for younger people. going into huge debt for an education, having to have a crappy robotic job serving some rich greedy bastard so you can have crappy "health insurance" so you can get your antidepressant meds covered and whittle away at paying your loans for the education, and eco-depression all combine to form the maelstrom of hopelessness that leads to so many wanting out. it's hard to live in a society operated by greed.

I wonder if it has something to do with the ban on ss. Maybe after the ban people had to find other places to go and some of them only found sw?

It's possible, not many people know about this site so perhaps majority migrated to SW.

The whole idea of capitalism is to distribute wealth to those who do the best for the society. Psychiatry is a joke. Don't believe them for a minute. It is a business. Sadness is not a disease, only you reacting to your surroundings. I got the greatest reaction when I said that to a streamer who was talking about over coming depression. Paused for three seconds and said I don't have all the answers. The person basically admitted they just started thinking more positively through out her attention whoring rants. But she still refers to it as depression. The person is still fat but just thinking differently. They take pride in having accomplished over coming "depression". Brilliant just brilliant, we reward people for making up diseases to get sympathy. I don't know about you but I want to spread my genes. I wanted to accomplish a few things. It never occurred to me that I should take the easy way out and put the blame of my life not being how I want it to be on something else. here's the process psych does. Tell people they have a disease. They say they have the drug that solves it(coincidentally a new drug solves it when the patents run out), now you have created a demand for the drug. Eventually when people decide to use plants to medicate themselves they will use monantos gmo model and make money of of gmo plants. But I suspect they will continue to claim weed and everything else is evil cuz you know it's for degenerates lol. Have sovereignty over your mind, don't settle for the bs drug war. The gov makes money shipping contra over the border and take advantage of the false rarity. I would move to portugal if I was undamaged from anti-p and still ambitious. Now I have to listen to my mom talk about how she dreams of me driving a jeep with a college babe. Fuck off you close minded retard. OPTIMISTIC TO ME IS TO PROTEST FORCED PSYCH AND END IT SO I'M NOT REMINDED OF HOW RUINED I AM LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL XD LMAO ROFL. Dipsticks who don't even know the why their warm. Even if we protest right to die we will get sectioned lolol probably. Fuck off people who refuse to understand. FUCK It would be amazing if everyone found a local cliff or shot selves and jumped off of it at the same time so that it trended on twitter and people understood that people want to die. I am not inciting a mass suicide only dreaming of it

yes, i agree that once a "disease" is established in the dsm 5 or whatever version they are on—a business is built around it. it's disgusting. i don't have a tv and haven't had one for ages, by choice, and when i am at someone's house or somewhere with a tv and see the drug commercials i can feel the evil of it in my bones. i am waiting for my first order of organic cbd oil. i hope it will make me not wanna expire.

hahaa! but— i don't think earth is choosing to die.
In all seriousness, the other species of this planet do not have the cognitive capacities to make their own decisions in this regard. But think about what life is nearly like for almost everyone else on this planet. Take the gazelle, for example, which the lion spends several minutes asphyxiating before it finally dies. I value the end of that kind of suffering.

Two quotes from Schopenhauer on this:

"One simple test of the claim that the pleasure in the world outweighs the pain…is to compare the feelings of an animal that is devouring another with those of the animal being devoured."

"If you try to imagine, as nearly as you can, what an amount of misery, pain and suffering of every kind the sun shines upon in its course, you will admit that it would be much better if, on the earth as little as on the moon, the sun were able to call forth the phenomena of life; and if, here as there, the surface were still in a crystalline state."

Yea cbd is the calm down and the high inducing part of the weed is the upper part. I would recommend traveling to peru and seeing an awausca shaman. Graham Hancock speaks of it showing you the right path in live, or I think he specifically said it teaches you hard lessons you might not be able to see as the truth withouth your ego being lifted while on a dmt inducing drug. It is good to have an ego an dI had an huge one, but i df needed a learning moment would my ego because i was being so asslike to everyone I was building a serria nevada sized shitpile of bad karma, all to be as masculine as humanly possible.

the brutality of wildlife is pretty appalling. as brutal as it is, at least it's not institutionalized torture. it doesn't bother me as much as how humans treat animals. since the advent of industrial farming in the 1950s we have treated farm animals as if they aren't sentient.

he must be an antinatalist. me too. all the love, kindness, and happiness on this planet are totally mucked up by the depth and boundlessness of suffering. too high a price.

that's good you realized what an ass you were being. i've been around guys who you can tell are trying to be all masculine. it sounds like maybe you had a little ego death. which i sometimes wonder about as an alternative to suicide. if i could just die an ego death! maybe then i would't be in such emotional pain. maybe that is the thing that wants to die and i am confusing it with myself. i went through a period of learning about ayahuasca and was watching graham hancock talks too. he's pretty great. i can't afford to go down to peru right now though :/

i don't think earth is choosing to die.

Nature is a capitalist, death is everywhere. Just because we can't see that everything is killed and recycled at a constant rate, from the bacteria in our digestive system to elephants, whales and of course people, doesn't mean that the pitfall isn't there.

you can get dmt drugs that will be very similar. the safest way and best way would be to buy the mushroom psilocybin nodes(seeds for shrooms) and plant them and grow them and research how to cook them because they are structurally similar to dmt. I really recommend that.

Sure I began to think differently when I realized I was eating up all of of the good and spitting out bad often. I also had a good heart that fucked me over too. For example if I stayed selfish I might now have been as distracted in the last psych ward and I might have thought straighter and not gotten the anti-p injection that ruined me. It is good to be an asshole sometimes but balance is key. It is all about summoning the dark and light power at the right moment. What I meant about learning is that ayahuasca teaches you or the psilo does. Large doses of weed does too but much of it is over cooked with the high part(other is cbd that calms) so it may land you in a psych ward)

It gives the right amount to the right being.

All around, there are considerable genetic advantages or disadvantages (redistributed unfairly from a subjective point of view, but that's natural selection), I don't think that fairness exists in nature.

I put out the equation Nature = Capitalism because once we're grown older and possibly full of diseases, we're going to get thrown away like a commodity. That's not much different from our common notion of capitalism.

Still, it's all about luck. Maybe a 'positive' attitude can help, but without a doubt there are those who give 100 and get 50/40/30... and those who had it good since the very beginning without lifting a finger up.

i disagree. capitalism lines the product with filler so there will be more profit. nature is too efficient for that. capitalism exploits. nature uses what it needs. again, it is an efficient machine. capitalism is not.

Considering the number of illnesses that plague us since birth, and the 1000+ ways we can die and get thrown away from the gene pool at any given time, I wouldn't say so.

Also, getting older = pre-planned obsolescence. And it surely rings a bell

The dm5 is perfect, like how it ruled being gay as a mental disorder on the basis or religious values up to 20 years ago. There is certainly nothing else wrong the dm5. No everything is in there for very solid reasons.

I wouldn't say we are destroying our host if by host you mean the earth. I think humanity is quite temporary in comparison to how long the earth has existed and will exist.

Life isn't pointless, the way we live life is pointless. Some days I think we never should have invented agriculture.
