I think it's time to have more names of ctb introduced into the public discourse. I think the word suicide is to charged of a word and covers to broad of a topic. Just like the language with aliens > NHI and UFO > Uap, we need a shift to help people process and discuss end of life actions.
I think someone who feels their life has run their course and are ready to let go and peacefully transition should have a descriptor that reflects that.
Someone who is in so much pain they choose to end it should have a different descriptor.
Someone being bullied...
Someone unable to recover enough to function in society...
Idk, do these names already exist and I don't know about them? Or could we formulate a list? Would having the proper word that encapsulates what and why you ctb help to make the process easier and maybe even replace a note for some people?
