Lol and they never will provide any sort of medical journal with a peer reviewed study that supports prescribing Xanax anti depressants or supporting his whole "aLl DePrEsSaNtS aRe ThE sAmE dUh. I can't even waste my time anymore on this guy, it's super obvious that it's some likely 21 or younger kid that lives in his moms basement and has nothing better to do than make up degrees because he's failed in those areas in life. Sad, but likely true. If he spent as much time as he does making up nonsense on actually going to school and earning said degrees he might actually get there and learn the difference between an antidepressant and CNS depressant. It's clear in the name they aren't the same lol. CNS depressants do just that, depress your CNS overall (breathing rate, blood pressure, heart rate, basically those involuntary functions that are mostly controlled in your brain stem) and there is no antidepressant in any first world country with a medical system that is a CNS depressant and is labeled to be used for depression meaning it's not an off label use that Dr. I got my degree online (which isn't even possible for medical school) would give to his patients for depression. Maybe he saw that's depress is in both of them and depression so in his amazingly smart brain he associated them all together thus getting his "facts." Seems like the type of person that might come up with that sort of stellar idea.

I just read the stream of utter bullshit. If Xanax was an anti-depressant I would have no trouble getting this from local health clinic. No. I tell them I am anxious and they say benzos are dangerous. As if my anxiety is no a danger.

When drs. are sending over perscriptions they are not writing: Xanax- for depression. They write the name of med and dosage not the fucking underlying health condition. Saying that he gets 200 rx for xanax for depression a month is ridiculous. VicMacky is super angry....I'm really angry I can relate but I can't relate to the obvious hate he sheds on others on SS. I understand feeling defensive, but I think a simple Google search would support what everyone else besides him is saying. AND WTF does it matter? WHO GIVES A FUCK!?

Xanax is to treat fucking anxiety. NOT DEPRESSION. It can link Xanax with depression doing a Google search but the implication is that depression and anxiety are interlinked. Benzos are not like taking a daily dose of Prozac...not the same family of drugs. I hate reading depressing shit on here...it makes me anxious and want a Xanax....not depressed and want a Xanax. LOL

Also: I am really sorry for the person posting getting all of these horseshit angry comments and people attempting to educate when there's no real point. Take care person posting. I hope shit gets better or you can feel some relief.

I've always thought pharmacists were one of the most useless and overpaid professions. A tech could do it.
