I'm very glad you decided not to jump, it takes alot of strength to persist.

I hope you find the strength to live through your pain

Tried going and I couldn't do it

Same here. Was so determined to go this morning, right up to about 3am and then I conked out and slept on and off for 12 hours and now here I am again, frustrated, distressed, facing another night and the fear of tomorrow.

Perhaps it was a sign, there are no mistakes

Yeah it does feel like my body is fighting against me, but my mind is still in such torment, want it over with.

Why don't they just drive to a bridge?

What happens for y'all when you try to jump? I have yet to actually go to the bridge to try. It's like I'm too scared to find out how scared I am to actually do it. Any tips on what I can expect or how to push past the survival instincts?

Thanks to all the honest souls on here. SS is a comforting resource.

We can talk experiences but that's as far as it goes, I once stood on a bridge for 8 hours, was ready to go, but people stopped me, that is my biggest advice, avoid people!! Next time im going to a different bridge with less people!

What to expect will be different for everyone, for me, I had a sense of freedom, a sense of control, a sense of total peace with myself.

I always thought about a bridge but I'm terrified of heights, there's the Erskine Bridge just outside Glasgow which would be perfect but I think they now have cameras on it.

Have a clear mind (don't think of anything), be determined to die, and consider falling backwards or cover your eyes.

I'm sending you good energy but please don't jump, I would hate for you to be in more pain. I know you have money issues and so do I but please don't worry.

Jumping is one of the worst ways to go
I would think jumping from sufficient height would be the way to go. As little my as onlookers are safely out of harm's way, I think it would be a quick death, yes?
