Argon is also a noble gas, like helium. From my limited chemistry knowledge, it should be denser (that is heavier) than helium, don't know if this influences breathability or not.
All these methods work by replacing oxygen and carbon dioxide by some gas, if it is breathable it should work i think.Similar threads
