Meto effects

Hey all, because I only have 1 package of meto (20 tablets of 10mg), I wanted to test to see if I will experience any negative effects that I have read about, EPS, etc. How common are these effects and how long do they usually last? Also, if I do experience these effects does that mean I am unable to do the 2 day regiment and I should stick to the stat dose when the time comes? Don't want to waste the meto that seems to be so hard to get.

I think you can't know if you get EPS unless you test meto first. I did not get EPS but, i felt too weak, felt weakness in arms, slept for a long time.
its better to try with 10 mg first. I took 10 mg initially, did not feel anything except feeling a bit sleepy, took another 10 mg. but, idk if its ok to take 20 mg the first time you take it, may be its better to start with 10 mg.

For our purpose I think that is a good thing. As long as we don't get EPS these other side effects would actually help our bus ride...

20 minutes after taking the first pill, I started feeling sleepy.

Yes. That is the maximum recommended therapeutic dose and it is like that for a good reason. We're not trying to kill ourselves with meto here, it's just meant to stop the other stuff from coming back up.

But if you do the stat dose, it's 30mg at once. It's required an hour before you take SN. According to Donewith_, onset was about 20mins for him. What are the chances this would be a problem if you can't take SN?

It's unpleasant to watch, nobody in their right mind wants to watch another person suffering, and I hope that the person recovered. However, it can be usefully instructive to anybody who may go down the same route, and a warning to avoid the same results.

Even my doctor say this is the reason why they hardly prescribe meto because of these side effects.

I wont like to be laying down like that lady.
So i keep it at a safe 10mg every 7 or 8 hours.

Zofran doesn't carry the risk of EPS, does it? I've asked around and that was apparently the anti-nausea pill I was given (which felt great)

My dr won't prescribe meto because i'm going through benzo withdrawal and am prone to movement disorders like akathesia. Akathesia can become permanent and it is the WORST THING THAT ANYONE CAN EVER GO THROUGH! BE CAREFUL WITH THESE DOPAMINE AES. If you test it and have oxy or propranolol take it may help.
