Hi, new account, but long time lurker. I am from Hungary. I often hear people say that when you die, your brain works for seven mintues showing you the best moments in your life. Well, i didn't have many, much of my life i regret, otherwise i wouldn't be there, haha. But those few moments that were worth living for, i still want to see them flash before my eyes before i succumb to eternal sleep. Any CTB methods that would help me achieve this, or does this only occur with "natural" (aka non-self inflicted) death?

Maybe a slow dying process is needed to make the most of those flashbacks. Maybe it coukd last longer than 7 minutes then?

Yeah, maybe. What slow dying process, what would make me have that process? Thank you for answering xoxo

I hate to say it but I don't think there is any brain activity after we exit. I accidently od'ed and died for 5 minutes and was brought back. When I was gone that was it. No God, no angles, no dead friends and relatives calling me home, absolutely nothing. But it was the most peaceful I have ever felt. I may be wrong but that's what happened to me. Yours and everybody else's experiences might be different. I hope the best for you and everybody else.

I don't believe there's any 'seven minutes' of flashbacks but that's just me. We can't know for sure.

If it's true that there's seven minutes of brain activity left, then there shouldn't be a specific way of dying to achieve it since it's a 'fact'. Any method should be okay.

Well, not hanging or jumping, as they are very fast. So being stabbed somewhere in the body where death is not immediate, or some form of overdosing or poisoning. I can't suggest exactly which ones, nor whether the flashback will be longer than 7 minutes. But I am sure that when you are dying, you will be inclined to think back on your life, however good and/or bad it has been. It should already bring peace, knowing it will all end soon.

Hanging should work as it takes much longer to die than the time it takes to lose consciousness. People report hearing the voices of dead loved ones during hanging attempts as well.

Yeah, i researched more and its kind of a pop-science myth :/ but there were still cases reported of smthing similar happening in the brain. Idk

Yeah, i was already contemplating some kind of OD as my method, even tho its considered a non method. I wish i could just die in my sleep, or be euthanized, but alas the world wants me to suffer

What type of hanging? I experimented with hanging before, but it failed to even make me pass out, i just had a really bad headache and way of breathing after. I cant tie a knot for the life of me. I tried with scarfs and a cardigan. Should i buy an actual rope?
