I just got the news that I've been terminated at work. I have been away for so long that I've exhausted all leave. My manager already promised me that when I get back they will do everything they need to do to get me back at the same position and full time status. So I've not officially lost it or anything. But fuck. It hurts so fucking bad to know how many things have been stolen from me. Mental illness is a thief. It's robbed me of so many fucking things and now it's robbed me of my job that I love so fucking much. I'm so exhausted of this life. I don't want a life where I have to fight against my head to keep everything I care about. I'm so done. I just want to be done.

I'm so sorry to hear this. But it's good to hear that your manager said they will make an effort to bring you back to your position when you're ready. I admit I don't know how your job works but I hope you're able to get it back, and it sounds like they recognize you are a good employee.
