I think the sooner you make your peace with that the better.

The alternative is to live a life watching from the margins. I've spent large portions of my life this way. It's not really living. Fear is a bigger prison than undesirable dick size.

I know a guy that would ask any woman to dance and get rejected 99 of 100, some pretty nastily, but to him that 1 success was worth it. He was able to shrug off any no response and just keep on going, not me in any way. So I can see someone in this situation not up for the barrage of rejection that would come their way to find the one that is the right match. A suck form of living.
