Not sure if that's true, I think that a laughing emoji just lends itself to abuse, not just people laughing at memes but at others misfortune or goodbye threads... Sad to say, but they're are always a few black sheep around.
You're correct. I just meant that the mods must consider the matter settled and would prefer users stop asking about it. I understand the reasoning for removing it as an option.
I gave the suggestion to enable it for offtopic section. I take your point about people being insensitive in suicide or recovery section, it should not be enabled there.
If only people gives me this much care when I'm alive and in pain.
