Well I was shaking on my knees, so I really wasn't able to walk straight. But I didn't feel like I was going to vomit though. Not at all. Mind you though - I was on oxygen and shit in an ambulance before I got to my last minutes. So maybe that prevented me from throwing up.
In the end the most painful thing was the treatment at the intensive care unit, the attempt itself wasn't so bad physically.
Thanks for your useful reply! Sorry to know the treatment was painful.

I'm listing names of those attempting with SN since my last post and some missed.

Despite the uncertainty of the veracity of the testimonials, I'm inclined to believe most. Many departed devoted much time and effort to the forum and it seems unlikely that they gave up their accounts to fake death.

I'm using @quarty00's choice of words. The word "success" was never intended to convey celebration of the attempt. The circumstances that result in someone making this choice are tragic for families, friends and members of the board.

I relied on posts by @Living sucks on @notjustyetagain's thread for many recent ones.

My thanks to all of those who have given their testimony and my condolences to all those grieving for the departed.

Peace and hugs to all.

For what it's worth and we will never know why, could be family or police on their accounts, but just an observation.
@iceiceice722 drank SN on Jan 15 but was last seen Feb 24.
@ninja_daryl drank SN on Apr 13 but was last seen Apr15.

with my rudimentary research from a non-clinician, this is how I see it. SN produces methemoglobin which removes the oxygen from the bloodstream. The liver and other biological process try and remove this and replace it with hemoglobin that does carry oxygen. I believe the dose of 15 - 20gm is there to overload the system so the hemoglobin can't be restored quick enough regardless of your metabolism. If done that way, one of the early symptoms should be drowsiness and then unconsciousness due to the brain being deprived of oxygen. There is a symptom that people breath a lot quicker but there is no discomfort as say with CO2 poisoning as the lungs accept that you are taking in air. Being not found and not having intervention is also key. Even though I am looking at autopsy and clinical notes, they only talk about the medical stuff rather than saying how they were found, did they call assistance or were found by someone. Everyone has different tolerances and I guess different times to unconsciousness and death is to be expected. But there are a few reports from members who have passed that either mentions nausea, a manageable headache or blurred vision before they logged off. I have seen that people have taken sedatives to help them get to sleep a bit quicker.

But without having a full scientific investigation into why those who failed did so I cannot speculate. But I do know that I nearly bought the wrong purity SN so its worth double checking.
I have seen someone pass from taking SN. I am an MD, but i did not see it in my capacity as an MD at that time. I can confirm though that it was a very peacefull death for this person. I was with them from the moment they took the last mouthfull until they passed. I know that they had taken an anti-emetic prior to taking the SN, they did not vomit, nor did they say that they felt nauseous. They remained talking at least for the first 5 minutes or so before becoming very sleepy. I was aware that they were still breathing but they were not responding to my voice at that point. From that moment until they passed, they did not wake, i heard her expell air twice before finally passing. I could not have imagine a more peacefull way for them to pass. Thats what they wanted. I know that she also took sedatives, I believe they were valium before taking SN as well.

It seems SN has quite a diverse set of outcomes - because I've heard stories on this forum that tell a less optimistic story in regards to the peacefulness - that there is some visible discomfort before unconsciousness. I hope what you witnessed is less of anomalous than them..

No, I have not any doubt about its lethality. It is a toxic.
What if I have a lot of doubts about it is a method reliable and painless.

I agree with you. mine is only one perspective, but i guess at least it is one observed perspective. Hopefully this may raise anomalous dispersions. Given that my desired method of CTB may not be possible i have begun to consider SN as a possible CTB for me.

@Shu Glad I read this.
Just curious: how would it be possible that you, even if not a medical doctor at the time, nonetheless without a doubt possessing an inquisitive mind and fascination with what you were witnessing, could possibly not know what medications were ingested?

I'm listing member handles of those who attempted with SN to help others in deciding on its reliability by reading their postings. All of them were hurting and I wish no disrespect. They shared their stories for the benefit of other members.

Being successful requires some hours of privacy and 4 elements: fasting 8 hours, appropriate antiemetic, acid reducer and sufficient dosage and purity of SN. Details are found in the wiki and megathread. I've found only 2 failures with stat dose and none with 48 hour.

All failures were due to vomiting, being found or calling emergencies. Alone time can be planned and it's your choice to call for help. However, you might not know that you're prone to vomiting for whom no oral method is recommended.

@Eden2k and @Funkygibbon both failed initially, learned from the attempt and were subsequently successful.

Please add to the thread missing member names or story links.

Successful:
@Geesuicide
@Minudah
@Eden2k
@Crest33
@Wantingpeace
@Kakabushi

@Northerngirl1965

Unsuccessful:

@drakewantstogo

How I envy them I hope one day my moniker can be added to the successful list! :)
