Now for the next post, we will meet some new members of the Royal family while King Malcolm also prepares to go to war one more time.



This is Alexander Canmore. He's still young and needs to be further educated on how to rule and/or command an army before he can go out into the world and become a leader. His older brothers Edmund and Prince Edward will teach him everything they know, and as you can see, Alexander is loyal to our Right to Die society as well."



Edmund Canmore recruits new troops in the Capital City.



Edmund Canmore taxes the people lightly and is well-known for being Fair in Rule.



Once more King Malcolm raises up an army to fight the Forced Lifers!



Patrick the Diplomat arrives at Paris, to offer diplomacy to France.



King Philip of France sees that his offers of trade rights and map information are generous.



King Philip accepts the deal!



That's it for now. As we can see here, the Council of Nobles is pleased with our diplomatic relations with other countries.

 

[Lost in a Nightmare]

In this post, King Malcolm will finish preparing his army for battle while the allied nations around us continue to build up their infrastructure. Patrick the Diplomat will also continue his journey through Europe.



Leaving Paris, Patrick heads southeast towards the Papal States. At some point we need to establish diplomacy with the Pope and bribe him so he is less likely to excommunicate us.



In the next turn, the Council of Nobles assigns the King the task of capturing Caernarvon. That castle is part of the last, small kingdom that is run by Forced Lifers. We will see if they surrender instead of attacking them, because surely the people living there fear our military might, while also seeing how happy the people are living in the allied states around us.



Then war breaks out between the Byzantine Empire and Venice!



The first wall has been constructed around Dublin to assist in its defense.



King Malcolm has his army ready! Soon he will march on the Castle of Caernarvon after battling George Cooke, and avenging Fearghus the Spy's horrible execution!



Then the navy successfully docks at the Port of Edinburgh, and that's all the images I can post for now. Our pro-choice society is strong, and soon every town under our rule will have access to euthanasia services for people who don't want to live.

In this post, we will see how the Diplomacy is going with other countries before King Malcolm goes to war against the Forced Lifers again. Soon George Cooke will be defeated, after having Fearghus the Spy executed in such a horrific way.



Here we see that relations with Spain have improved! Trade between our people is going quite well.



And a new royal family member is born! Procreation is totally okay in our society because people who choose not to live can always receive euthanasia anytime they want. It is a human right!



And here is the End of Turn report. Our military spending is quite high, and that is why our funds are going into the negative.



Here we see King Malcolm preparing to go to battle against George Cooke, the Forced Life general who wants to take back York from us!



Here we see the balance of power between King Malcolm and George Cooke. The odds of a victory are quite high, but in the next post, we will see how the battle actually progresses.

In this post, King Malcolm goes into battle against George Cooke! The Forced Life commander who killed our spy will pay the ultimate price!



King Malcolm's forces start out on the hillside overlooking the valley. They will march down and face George Cooke on the battlefield!

King Malcolm's forces finally meet up with George Cooke's infantry. Now it's time to fight!



King Malcolm's cavalry charge into the enemy front lines!



George's Cavalry Bodyguard Unit enter the battle, things are getting intense!



George Cooke has the gray feathers on his helmet. He is fighting against us very aggressively!



Here we see George's troops starting to run away from the battlefield. Soon King Malcolm is going to win, but we will see the end results of this battle in the next post!

Here we see King Malcolm closing in on the castle at Caernarvon! Soon he will liberate the common people from the Forced Lifer regime that rules over them!

In this post, King Malcolm prepares to liberate the people of Caernarvon! Now that he's officially defeated George Cooke, he can continue on with his military campaign!



Here we see King Malcolm closing in on Caernarvon with his army!



The siege begins!



Patrick Macdougall runs out of moves again as he heads south.



In Edinburgh, Dr. Brian Maknab trains the new Euthanasia Doctor!



This is Dr. Gille Calline! He is inexperienced in comparison to Dr. Maknab, but he is euthanizing people who don't want to live and his work is doing wonders for our society!



The navy sails to the west around the island, so we can more easily move troops back and forth between Ireland and Caernarvon!



King Malcolm puts the castle under siege, but rather than attacking directly, he will wait to see if the people will surrender and hand over their corrupt Forced Life leaders! In the next turn and post in this thread, we will see how the diplomacy with other nations goes, as well as discover if the people of Caernarvon will surrender to us!

Here we see that Scotland's relations with England are going good. Perhaps they believe in the Right to Die as much as we do?



And here we see another son of King Malcolm coming of age. David Canmore can join the fight against the Forced Lifers and liberate the people who are being oppressed by them.



This right here is David Canmore. He doesn't have much leadership abilities yet, but he will learn these things soon enough by going to war against Forced Life oppression everywhere.



Here we see that Caernarvon is still under siege. It won't be long before the people living in the settlement are liberated from their Forced Life oppressors.



Patrick the Diplomat continues his journey south, but he has to stop and rest.



In the next turn, our navy sails to Dublin to pick up more troops for the siege. If the Forced Lifers come out to fight, King Malcolm will need to be ready!



Four units of Spearmen and a unit of Crossbowmen should do the trick!



This is all I can post for now. The reinforcements have made it to Caernarvon and King Malcolm's forces will be strengthened. The Forced Life oppressors ruling in the castle won't know what to do!

In this post, King Malcolm's reinforcements will link up with the main army.





Here we see the Byzantine Empire and the Holy Roman Empire forming an alliance. Perhaps they're trying to bring back Rome as a united empire again!



In the town of Dublin, there is now a normal Tax Rate.



Prince Edward finally prepares to leave York and return to the Capital City of Edinburgh.



Here we see Prince Edward uniting with his brothers!



The people of York can now govern themselves. The Tax Rate there is Normal as well.



Patrick the Diplomat arrives in territory belonging to Milan. He is getting close to the Papal States! Soon he can bribe the Pope so he won't try to discover if we're euthanizing people or not.



This is the End of Turn report that shows that our military spending is getting a little out of hand. In the Balance of Power, we see that France, Milan, and the Byzantine Empire are doing the best.

In this post, we will see how long it will take for Caernarvon to surrender, and follow Patrick the Diplomat on his journey towards the Papal States.



King Malcolm still has the castle under siege and it will likely surrender in 2 turns!



Patrick the Diplomat arrives at the City of Genoa.



He offers Milan trade rights with our people.



Count Puccio of Milan accepts the offer.



Patrick the Diplomat continues his journey but runs out of energy and has to stop and rest.



The Castle of Caernarvon may surrender in 1 more turn. We will see if they do that, or if the people living in the surrounding town hand over their corrupt, Forced Life rulers.

On Turn 20, Caernarvon surrenders!



King Malcolm occupies the castle without a fight!



The Council of Nobles rewards the King with gold for successfully occupying the territory. Now we can teach the people of Caernarvon our ways and show the common people a better way to live or die, depending on what they choose for themselves.



King Malcolm gains a little more authority, and as you can see, he is also a decently religious person, despite his Right to Die beliefs.



Before leaving Caernarvon, King Malcolm has a conversation with the nobility ruling over the town after they hand over their former leaders as prisoners. He shared with them his beliefs that God would never judge someone merely for ending their lives in a peaceful manner, only for their reasons for doing so if they have committed acts of great evil and were attempting to escape justice that way. In most cases, the reasons people end their lives have nothing to do with that; it's because of health problems they suffer from, or a general dislike of the way the world is, which is understandable.



Patrick the Diplomat is getting closer to Rome. Soon he will establish diplomacy with The Pope in the hopes that we can avoid having him discover that we are euthanizing people in euthanasia clinics until we are powerful enough to defend against Crusading armies that he might send.



In Edinburgh, Dr. Brian Maknab awaits the return of The King. He has been our longest-serving Euthanasia Doctor and he wishes to have a discussion with Malcolm regarding what may be the end of his own life as he is making preparations to drink his own Peaceful Tea.



King Malcolm gets closer to Edinburgh with his small army. He too is getting advanced in his age, and may also consider drinking the Peaceful Tea at some point in the near future. We shall see.



At the end of this post, we see Patrick the Diplomat arriving in Rome. We shall see what he and The Pope discuss in the next post.

In this post, Patrick the Diplomat meets with The Pope and discusses diplomacy with the Papal Sates. We shall see how the discussion goes!



Patrick offers Trade Rights and Map Information to The Pope who sees this offer as generous!



Here we see that the deal is accepted!



The Council of Nobles requests that we establish diplomacy with The Holy Roman Empire. They have territory close to where The Pope is so this shouldn't take too long for Patrick to get there.



The relations between France and Scotland are going very well! It would seem that France has adopted our Right to Die beliefs as well!



King Malcolm has almost returned to Edinburgh. Soon he will return to The Throne and govern the Capital City of his people.



Patrick the Diplomat heads north, looking for territory belonging to The Holy Roman Empire so he can establish diplomacy with them,



In the next turn, Patrick the Diplomat arrives at the City of Bologna. This Imperial City is very well defended as we can see. Hopefully our relations with these people can go well.



Patrick the Diplomat offers Trade Rights and Map Information to The Holy Roman Empire. Emperor Heinrich the Chivalrous sees these offers as generous so he is likely to accept them in the next post.

In this post, King Malcolm returns to Edinburgh and the Diplomat continues to travel around the Italian peninsula offering diplomacy to as many nations as he can. Let's see how this goes!



Heinrich the Chivalrous excepts the offers!



King Malcolm is rewarded with 500 Florins for the diplomat establishing trade with the Holy Roman Empire.



Patrick the Diplomat is becoming a better diplomat as we can see here. He is also bilingual, so he knows 2 languages and this helps him a lot.



Here is King Malcolm outside of Edinburgh. As soon as he enters the capital, he will become the governor of the city again.



Once inside the city, King Malcolm goes with a High Tax Rate. This is necessary to fight for The Right to Die as a human right throughout our society. Hopefully the common people will understand, but at least the taxes can be lowered if they aren't happy about it.



Then the Council of Nobles comes out with a new mission - Establish diplomacy with Venice.



Here we see that the Moors have established an alliance with Spain and Portugal.



Patrick the Diplomat heads back towards Rome. He will likely establish trade with Venice soon, but first he needs to speak with The Pope again. In the next post, we will see what he does and we will see how seriously the Right to Die is taken in our society.

In the next few posts, major events are going to be happening to our Right to Die society. In the next several screenshots, we will see what's going on as the story progresses.



Big news has spread across Europe of the invention of the windmill! This could be a game changer for us and everyone else in our societies who want to live still.



Here we see that a new family member has been born into the Royal Family. If at any time during Domongart Canmore's adult life he chooses to end it with the help of the Peaceful Tea, it will always be his right to do so, the same as everyone else's.



In Edinburgh, King Malcolm has a meeting with all of his sons where he wishes to discuss with them his intentions of ending his life soon. Here is what he says to each of them:



"Edward, my son. I am considering drinking Dr. Maknab's Peaceful Tea soon. I have lived a long life and seen a lot of things, but the greatest of all has been witnessing how far our Right to Die society has come! Know that no matter what, you too will have access to the peaceful way out, should you ever need of it, but if you choose to live, my advice for you is to be as adventurous as you possibly can.

When you become King of our people, lead them well and do all you can to better our society, but be careful not to enrage The Pope. If we get excommunicated, he could send Crusaders against us. Do not let him know that we are helping people die with The Peaceful Tea until we have the military might to fend off the Crusaders, because he too is the leader of a Forced Life nation."



"Edmund, my son, as I have already told Edward, I will soon be drinking Dr. Maknab's Peaceful Tea. As I have told your older brother, I have lived a long life and seen a lot of things. The greatest of all I have seen has been witnessing how far our Right to Die society has come! When Edward becomes King, do all that you are able to help him rule over our people. Remember that it is our duty to fight for everyone's God-given right to end their life anytime they choose! The Peaceful Tea should be accessible to all, regardless of their circumstances.

I have come to the realization that if God truly loves us, he will welcome those who have ended their lives peacefully into Heaven with open arms as long as they are genuinely good people, or will send them back to the nothingness whence they came before birth, if that is their preference. Your faith is strong, so believe in my words and take them to heart!"



"Alexander, my son! As I have already told your older brothers, I will soon be drinking Dr. Maknab's Peaceful Tea. Help them rule over our people to the best of your ability, and fight for their God-given right to peacefully end their lives any time they choose! Do all you can to better our society for those who wish to live, while making it as easy as possible for those who wish to die. The right to choose either should be seen as equal in our eyes. You are young still, and have much of your life to live if you wish, but if you wish not to live, know that I respect your choice to follow in my footsteps. The Peaceful Tea will always be there for you, as it is there for everyone."



"David, my son! My youngest son! I will soon be drinking Dr. Maknab's Peaceful Tea. I have spent much time considering this, and I believe it is the right time for me to do this. Do not let your heart be troubled by my passing. I realize your faith in God may not be as strong as I wish for it to be, but I firmly believe that after I have left this world, I will join him in the Kingdom of Heaven, and once there, I will be with him for as long as I desire. When I have enjoyed the goodness of Heaven to my heart's content, The Lord will send me back to the nothingness whence I came before birth.

Even if you do not believe in God, I still love and respect you. Remember that The Right to Die is the greatest right any person can have! Fight for that right at every turn, and defeat the Forced Lifers who oppress their people by denying them the peaceful way out of this life. Be careful not to enrage The Pope, for he is a Forced Lifer and may send Crusaders against us if we are excommunicated. Even if you do not respect his beliefs, respect his Political Power and see to it that our people are able to defeat the Crusaders if they ever do come, before allowing him to discover that we are helping people die with The Peaceful Tea.

I wish you the best, David. If you choose to live, live your life well, and if you choose to die, I will see you on the other side. Best wishes to you and all of your brothers!"



Dr. Maknab awaits the King's decision and will help him end his life whenever he chooses. The doctor will also have a discussion with his apprentice, Dr. Gille Calline in the next post. We shall see what the Good Doctor has to say then.

In this post, Dr. Maknab will have a discussion with his apprentice, Dr. Gille Calline of Peeblesshire. We will also see the result of the King's decision to end his life and how it affects his people.



In the words of Dr. Maknab, Dr. Gille Calline hears this: "My dear apprentice! Our King is considering ending his life with the Peaceful Tea soon. He wishes to speak with his sons first before making his decision, and I understand why he may wish to do so. He is advanced in his age, as am I, and soon I too will drink the Peaceful Tea to leave this world. It will be as if I left this world naturally, but peacefully, and I wish the entire world had access to our way out of life if they choose.

Throughout your life, see to it that the people who leave this world are at peace if it is their choice. My only hope is that I too will be at peace when my time comes. When your time comes, know this! I will welcome you with open arms on the other side when you choose to end your life. God will not condemn people merely for ending their lives, only for their reasons if they have committed acts of great evil. This is what I believe with all my heart. I realize your faith may be not be as strong as mine, but know that you are doing the right thing by helping people leave this world if it is their desire.

When the King is ready, I will help him leave this world, but after I have followed in his footsteps, carry on with our legacy. If you too choose to end your life, do it peacefully, but if not, live well and fight for freedom!"



In the town of York, a new Euthanasia Doctor has been recruited. Despite his lack of experience, he knows that the Peaceful Tea should be a human right for all, and he will grant it to anyone who desires it, regardless of their reasons, as long as they have reached adulthood. There may be times when children or teens have the will to die, and while their reasons for desiring death are totally valid, it is far more complicated because their parents rule over them. When they come of age, he will grant them a peaceful way out of life, especially if they have looked forward to it for many years.



Patrick the Diplomat heads north in an attempt to establish trade with the people of Venice! It is unclear if their society is a Forced Life society or not, but at least if they trade with us, their common people will have access to the ingredients of The Peaceful Tea! Our goal is not to build the greatest empire the world has ever seen, but to establish the Right to Die as a human right everywhere, in every nation, and to destroy the Forced Lifers everywhere that they exist.



Patrick the Diplomat still has 4 turns to establish diplomacy with Venice! He will get to them as soon as he is able.



King Malcolm has finally drank the Peaceful Tea and left this world! His sons are left behind to rule over the kingdom, and it is up to King Edward to rule over the people and do what is best for them!



Patrick the Diplomat is getting closer to Venice! Soon he will establish trade with them, so their common people may have access to the ingredients of The Peaceful Tea!



Edward has become the King following the death of King Malcolm! He also has ornamental armor and his brother Edmund feels respected! Now the sons of Malcolm Canmore will fight for The Right to Die and leave behind their own legacies!



King Edward has accepted his responsibilities as the ruler of his people! He doesn't have much authority, but hopefully that will change in the future. He will fight for The Right to Die as a human right any time he is able, just as his father wished. While the small kingdoms around Scotland have been defeated, Forced Lifers are still everywhere and the more powerful nations run by them must be fought tooth and nail, no matter where they are. In the next post, we will see how Edward's leadership begins.

In this post, we will see what becomes of Dr. Brian Maknab!



Dr. Maknab has another conversation with Dr. Calline. In their conversation, he says this, "My dear apprentice! My time to leave this world is coming soon! I will drink the Peaceful Tea and leave you with the task of helping those who wish to leave this world do so peacefully. I believe in you as strongly as I believe in God. You have a good heart, so do with it what you know is right."



Dr. Gille Calline replies, "I wish you the best as you make your choice, Dr. Maknab! You have taught me well and the Peaceful Tea Scrolls will soon be accessible to people throughout our society so they can mix the ingredients of the tea themselves and drink it, with or without our help. It should be up to everyone to decide how they do it, in the comfort of their own homes, or in our clinics! After you leave this world, I will do my best to make you proud! I wish you the best!"



Here we see King Edward and his brother Alexander leaving the city of Edinburgh! They will prepare an army to fight against the Forced Lifers, but first they have to figure out where they are.



2 units of Town Militia and 2 units of Spearmen join them as they prepare their army. While Scotland may be in a time of peace at the moment, the possibility of war is always present. It is up to King Edward and Alexander to figure out who the enemies are and go to war with them.



Captain Lulach leads an army out of Caernarvon to meet up with King Edward. Once they meet up, they will be prepared for battle, should the need ever arise.



Admiral Donald sails north to go around the island so he can dock his ships at the Port of Edinburgh. In the event that King Edward needs to travel anywhere by ship, it is important to be prepared.



In Edinburgh, Edmund Canmore adjusts the Tax Rate so it is lower than it was before. The people living in the city will thank him for it.



At this point, the Pope has called for a Crusade against Egypt! Cairo is the target, and King Edward may have to join it to keep The Pope happy. We shall see how this goes.

Dr. Brian Maknab has drank the Peaceful Tea and left the world behind! His death was reported to The Pope as natural causes, but we know the truth. He made the decision on his own terms.



Here is where his death is officially reported to The Pope.



Dr. Gille Calline is the official Euthanasia Doctor in Edinburgh. He will take over for Dr. Maknab from here on out and do his best to provide people with a peaceful way out, if they choose his services, rather than using the Peaceful Tea Scrolls to end their lives at home.



In Edinburgh, a new Euthanasia Doctor is recruited. Now Gille Calline will have an apprentice of his own!



Captain Lulach marches north to meet up with King Edward.



The two armies merge together. Soon we will see if King Edward joins the crusade!



Patrick the Diplomat continues his journey towards Venice!



Patrick the Diplomat arrives at the city of Venice, but is forced to stop outside of the city before he can establish trade with those people. That is all the screenshots I can post for now.

Dr. Kyle of Nairnshire is the new Euthanasia Doctor. Dr. Gille Calline will teach him everything he knows about the proper procedures for helping someone die with The Peaceful Tea.



Admiral Donald arrives at the Port and docks the navy there.



King Edward marches his army towards the ships as he prepares to join the Crusade.



Here we see the Faction Announcements. Gille Coimded Canmore is born into the Royal Family and Patrick the Diplomat has gained more influence. That's all I can share for now. Next time, we will see King Edward join the Crusade!
