Me and partner from SS just started our 2day regime for SN.

I at first I questioned why this one seemed to happen a little quicker than some others, but i do get the ban generally, say you are just so caught up in the process (which ever method) you might not do a 'final'-- final post on yr thread...you may have felt you've said enough and want to get on with it...then if you become unconscious...you may pass away...and family or authorities may be able to see/access yr account and everything you have posted etc, now this would be even worse if you failed yr attempt!! imagine having to deal with that yr families they may be able to see all/ everything bad u might have said about them Or just yr life in general (they will either be really angry or really upset) & they might see things related to yr considered methods-thereby preventing u the future etc...also of course bad for the site...just bad all round...would actually be the most stressful thing to deal with after an attempt-much more so than just logging on-on doing un-ban.

Yeah, I'm partial to this explanation. I get it.

I don't post much, but feel like this may be some hope to those who really want to go but are scared of going alone, just like I was... yet I sit here now and I'm very content and happy with what's coming up.

The partner thread does work, and albeit I had many people contact me and I contacted many as well. But it really does work if both parties are serious, we're "living" proof of that, ha! :P

This looks like promoting the partner thread and meeting up with other members here. Hence a word of precaution is needed.

We as a ctb community do not only fall victim to scammers but also to (sexual) predators who might like to torture us to death as a worst but definitely not unthinkable case scenario. When being open to die this might be a chance for those sick minds pursuing their victims at places in abundance like this to make their morbid wishes come true. Just be very careful who you work with is my biggest advice.

Not saying this case is one of them but it certainly went through my mind reading this thread. Better to be warned and take extra precaution when meeting up with others plus most here haven't witnessed the "predator ban" of a while back.

Rules say that as soon as you say goodbye the mods are allowed to ban the account for security reasons.

I thought they said keep on til complete as started day one... would of been a shame if they completed it but had to go alone

No, not mid updates. They were updating regularly but then totally disappeared when it got to the time they were suppose to take the SN and never wrote anything after. It's fine if they changed their minds and stopped posting without telling us, but obv it just left all of us wondering as to what actually happened bc we were left under the impression they would continue the updates. The names got banned hours later.

They gave a rough timing of 11:00pm for drinking it. They went quiet on the thread and the mods banned them an hour after their declared time.

Ah I wasn't reading live so didn't see the true string of events I just read all together now and didn't pay much attention to times just I thought the quiet period was when they was banned. That makes more sense now. I hope they're happy whatever they decided

You really shouldn't post such extremely paranoid and speculative opinions on a goodbye thread. You think they might be scammers, sexual predators, or torturing murderers. Why? Its not like there are obviously contradicting posts by either of these two users that prove they have been deliberately deceitful and now post a fake suicide. But thank you for giving them a death with dignity.

If you want to claim it might be, start another thread or something. Maybe talk to the mods. Its not like there is obvious proof of deceit.

if you think posting a gentle PSA, on behalf of those unawares, is so detailing to a Goodbye topic that you would consider the dignity of the (possibly) deceased to be at stake - do you not also think that posting an argumentative response on same topic, which in itself proposes a new speculation ("fake suicide") along with sarcastic thanks would be similarly derailing?

It's my first post in goodbye threads, but really... when they disappeared, for me it was obvious that one of them who talked about his/her SI kicking in backed out, hence another one didn't drink it either, then they tried to calm down etc and decided to do it some other time when they are ready. All of it was so emotional that they self banned and now they are thinking how to deal with all that and what to do next.

Hope they are OK whatever they decided to do.
