Introduction:
Now let me start off by saying. Your suffering is valid, your situation to which why you want to end your existence is valid. Your perspective is valid. But at times I have to wonder. What I am about to say may sound "two faced" belittling, or generally self righteous. But if you need help understanding, ask me a question regarding a specific point to let me clarify. I want to try to make this as civilized as possible. I will also acknowledge my hypocrisy to attempt to descend it.
Critiquing the Position
Let me say this. This forum is the first time I felt relived to a certain degree, a bit exaggerative sure, but I want to say this. It feels good that you're not crazy. Well not to the capacity that society deems as its threshold for "Insane". But it feels a bit reassuring to know you're not alone, not alone in noticing the insanity, that is. We are suicidal for various reasons. We are the people that are left behind, inconveniences. Its hard to say that without sounding entitled, but paradoxically incorrect. Since we get ignored, conveniently so. I would like to say our circumstances are different. Is life filled with suffering? Yes, objectively so. But I do have to criticize individuals who go out of their way to argue it being pointless, meaningless and expect their word to be law. A message to those who see it as such. That is YOUR perspective and I respect that. You've your own problems, but it gets to a point where this message is saturated. This isn't a Pro-Life mentality. It is a critique. Your subjective opinion doesn't have to apply to everyone. Sure people suffer, everyone suffers. But having this bizarre psycho-pathic, tendency to which it would all go dark is equally as morbid as the people you argue that ignore the suffering in the world. You're just as bad, and falling into the trap by your own logic. I am not here to magically lecture you about life is somehow worth living. But that is for you to decide. But please do not try to attempt to deflect criticisms, by hiding behind a shield of pseudo-intellectualism, elevated by nothing but Nihilism. I also find it strange how people within this position tend to favor Anti-natalist positions, (to a rational, reasonable degree). But I don't think you really care about the unborn lives within that proposition. Its almost as if it is similar to the think about the children tactic. A rhetorical tactic in a way, to attempt to elevate a self righteous position. Its rather disturbing.
What I see here, is a essentially two sides of the same coin. The ones who are pro-life and pro-choice, are essentially two sides of the same coin. It took me a while to realize that. Now I understand we don't operate on a hive mind of sorts, and experiences vary greatly. So my perspective doesn't immediately equate to everyone else's, like I previously mentioned it varies. But the coin I am referring to. Is the rhetorical weapon of suffering. For example. We all have heard of hallow threats such as think of your loved ones (if you even have ones) you would grieve them of suffering. Yet the opposing side of the spectrum argues that maybe they're the ones that refuse to acknowledge your perspective/situation, to why you would want to end it. Therefore presenting an infinite cycle of "what aboutisms".
I self reflect constantly. As I admit my tone may sound arrogant, belittling, condescending. I assure you it is far from the truth. But taking my word for it isn't good enough. A forum for suicidal people run by suicidal people. That is rather dangerous, not in the conventional sense. I see it as nothing but an echo-chamber for constant brewing of chaos and unpredictability. One can see how this can backfire. The clouding of judgment. Irrationality. Torment. Cultivated, superficial tribulation. Feeding towards one another. But I do adore the respect we give each other. We are willing to listen and accept choice. We are not a "death-cult" as others would put it.
I hate how society creates a class of forgotten people. "Phantoms" if you will. Only to turn a blind eye when its convenient. Make life hell for most. I always ask why the western world is so depraved. Its the sense of forgotten community. We all want to be loved. Needed. Cared for. It is human. But we are not allowed. The world is run by horrible people that will do everything in their power to preserve their own self interests, to allow us to suffer. A parody of the 21st century. Suicide prevention is merely a public after thought. As previously mentioned. Create a sub-class of phantoms and put a band-aid on the problem and turn away.
We lie to ourselves constantly and insist our position is absolute. I tend to study individuals. Reading their posts and trying to come to find any possible conclusion, to derive from them. Of course it is near impossible. But I can't help but think. I have always reflected and asked myself. After the phantoms are created, we get false remedies and become worse. Their is no legitimate structure in this country or other countries to give us a reason to live, their is no "community". A machine that spits us out. When we work to the very bone we so hope to preserve.
It hurts my soul to see the cattle that lack hobbies. I just tend to go to the plaza and watch. I am not a school shooter, writing a comical manifesto. I am not some high and mighty, deity that deems my position absolute. I just prefer to let my skepticism, do the eroding then me. But some times, I can help but feel like as if most people. Have become NPC's of sorts. Animals. Uncivilized. They just buy, reproduce, eat and shit. Wriggling and squirming. Go to a Costco, or a major retail store and see what I mean. I am not saying people shouldn't buy things. We all need to sustain ourselves somehow. I am not a hypocrite, I buy useless shit all the time. But it is almost in a way. Where their is no hobby no sense of humanity. Just mindless, hallow consumerism. Materialism. Nothing to mean anything. You see children, young girls, dancing in the most bizarre way. For attention. This is morbid, all of it is morbid. This isn't suffering. This is an allusion. We are already dead. We are just witnessing hell play out.
