Are you perhaps commenting on the basis of a control - your personal experiece - rather than what has led many of us here? I do not know you, I will not minimise your experience because I do not know it & minimising is narcissistic - so I will just say instead, a lot of people here are outright children or pro-lifers or reporters or saviour complex assholes or time-wasting energy vampire trolls, preying on those weaker or more at risk or however you choose to describe those that are here from NEED, not a paycheck or an ego boosting pat on the back or a sociopathic thrill.
And some of us have been raped, repeatedly, beaten by more than one person, suffered abuse from their trusted family members or spouses, suffer from chronic pain, poverty, mental illness, insurmountable life circumstances etc etc.
If you have suffered enough to be brought here by legitimate reasons, I empathise. But I doubt it - people that have suffered real hell here rarely fear your imaginary hell. Fuck what's in your faux-Schrodinger's box / cat.
I rarely engage in this stuff, not fear of debate, fear of wasting sacred time. This post caught me at a low, & as young people say "triggered" me - I'm gonna opt out here, I truly came back to see if the cat memes (not Schrodinger's ) cheered the sads out of me, rather than engaging with the mads (mad, angry, not mad crazy, that's a finger I do not point).
It did & did not work so I will say goodnight again, but this time put myself to bed...

For me it doesn't matter if it seems clever or not, although there are many ways to make your point, some of them are more inflammatory than others. It's simply incorrect. You start with an assumption of which probability cannot measure and then come to some conclusion based on that assumption.

Just for the record, I was being super sarcastic about clever with math, super genuine about clever wasting our time

I don't follow the assumption that suicide is irrational to an agnostic atheist. An agnostic atheist doesn't believe in the existence of hell, heaven, afterlife, God, etc.

I didnt read the rest of what you said, but what you wrote here is wrong. Youre using the same differential for heaven and hell, implying that they have the same probability. Still, I assumed that heaven is non infinite because of Benatar's asymmetry argument. But still if you do the maths correctly you can prove the same without the Benatar's asymmetry argument. But its more complex. Anyways, this is getting out of hand.

I disagree with the post and it is easy to disprove it, but please, let's be nice. If somebody is wrong or misinformed, correct them.

If OP doesn't want to ctb, good for them. Assuming good intentions (and I question them as well), OP fears hell and that is understandable.

You can apply maths to game theory (like prisoners dilema) or decision theory works though and that's what OP tried to do.
