Making the most out of my forest CTB

I will make a shelter, probably an A frame style shelter.

I know nothing about camping to be honest. I never been.

I will spend at minimum 1 night in my setup so that when I CTB, I'm not afraid.

If you spent 1 night out before ctb, won't people start looking after you? You don't need so many camping skills as you won't need to stay there long if I can it like this... Just chose a good weather day, install a tent while still day light, wait the night and do what you unfortunately want to do

I think you're brave for that plan. I'd be scared, but the main reason being fright of delaying and giving up. Had some situations when I thought it's serious but didn't go through, so now I'd probably go for do it quick or just don't.

Hope it will be a kind of celebration for you, if we can call it that.

I might not spend the night but maybe a couple hours there. But I have a feeling I'll have to spend the night, because it'll get dark and I won't be able to travel in the forest in the dark.

If I sneak out, no one would notice I'm gone. If they don't see me come out of my room by 10-11 am then they will come knock on my door. So I just need to be back before then.

The idea behind spending some time there before is so I can ease my mind and I won't be scared when I CTB. I can also write notes down of what I will need for my CTB.

The idea behind building a shelter is that it blocks noise, and also adds comfort.

Since I have a lot of time (1 year min, 2 year max) before I CTB. I write down everything that comes to mind about my CTB and I pay attention to small details.
