There will be a blue ocean event in the next 5-10 years and within several decades climate change will make many countries near the equator extremely arid and uninhabitable kickstarting a migrant crisis.

By 2023-2024 CRISPR will be rolled out as a treatment for diseases like sickle cell anemia, and countries will invest more in electric cars/trains as well as self sustaining farms and lab grown organs and food.

However when the full effects of climate change rear their mighty heads- a full on hydra mind you- it will be difficult for technology to advance as the resources necessary for progression will be allocated towards trying to keep everyone alive. A post climate change society will look very different than the modern world.

I think in the next 100 years we will have robots like the UK TV series Humans, trailer below and I think we will encounter similar problems like taking jobs, but I also think we will have other problems not mentioned with criminals stealing them and reprogram them for crime, selling drugs, and murder, hitman/women, but it will also help with loneliness and they will change the law one day so humans can marry them.

-The technological advance will be incomparable to the last centuries.
-The major powers will focus on the "space race" to see who develops the best technologies for exploring space first.
-New ""cyberterrorists"" will emerge similar to anonymous. They will prove that the big pharmacies have cures for the main diseases for centuries.
-There will not yet be a correct food management but an artificial food will be developed that contains 100% of the daily nutritional requirement.
-Increased consumption of artificial meat.
-The EU will fall apart. Other unions will emerge in Europe such as the "Mediterranea" (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece ...). (France, Germany, Poland, Belgium ..) (Uk alone because they can haha).
