Venting loneliness (thought it was spelled lonelyness but that's not what I'm venting about)

I always feel lonely even though I have people around me. And I think I feel this way because I don't have anyone to talk to about how I truly feel.

For me, people don't listen to understand, they listen to interrupt and give parroted advice. Sometimes I don't want advice. I just want someone who will listen. Or, I dunno, someone who has similar struggles. I feel like I don't have a connection with any of the people I know because of this.
