Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Any suffering experienced during the dying process does not come close to the years of emotional and physical pain that life normally gives people. Even someone who experiences minimal amounts of suffering at life, still experiences moments of great agony, which in other words outweigh the few seconds or minutes of the dying process.

Most deaths are not even painful. People either die instantly or are too numb to have any perception of suffering(Im talking about unnatural deaths, because natural deaths are extremely painful usually - another reason why living is dumb). There is no logical reason to choose life. They are all based on dumb emotional decisions/basic survival instinct. If humans were purely rational beings whose goal is to not suffer anymore, I think everyone would kill themselves.

I'll certainly always see it as preferable to not exist as after all nobody can be harmed by the absence of everything, there are literally no disadvantages to being eternally unaware, yet as long as one exists there is no limit as to how much they can be tormented.

To me it's terrifying how existence holds unlimited potential for suffering, I do believe that many still exist as it's just so difficult to cease existing on our own terms, even if one is aware of how futile and cruel existence is, they are still programmed to survive. And after all we exist in this anti-suicide society where suicide is cruelly made so inaccessible.
