I feel it is like research. You know what to expect. What is surprising is how quickly people lose consciousness with the full suspension hanging.I watch these videos more than most people probably do. For me, it is for desensitisation purposes due to the fact that I see people who can't handle that stuff as weak and I do not want to be weak in that way, and seeing these people finally find peace makes me feel better than other gore videos and… oddly wholesome, in a way. Also it gives me courage to do it myself, and I guess to see the effects of certain methods first-hand.
I plan to stream my own.
Ah yes, The An-hero, Budd Dwyer. Gory, gory, What a helluva way to die!I watched the video of the politician who shot himself at a press conference. This took place in 1987, I believe. It was horrific and sad. I wished I never watched it, too.
Honestly, I feel a sort of excitement from those kinds of videos. But I know that's wrong so I try to stay away from them.I do not recommend watching any gore videos on the internet of CTB. Man did that freak me out
I wish I had not done that.
Same. Those videos don't phase me because of all the stuff I've been through but the comments are like horrendous. Making fun of the people who died so messed upThe videos dont bother me as much as the nasty vile comments on those sites. People are so desensitized.
I watch them to learn from and what to be prepared for. I think I have learned a lot from it and have changed my plans accordingly.I watch these videos more than most people probably do. Those videos don't affect me at all should I be happy or should I be sad?
I agree with you on this. While it is unfortunate those who did not want their deaths filmed had that happen, I believe that those who wish for their deaths to be shared publically should receive their wish.
I think I can relate. I see myself in many of those videos or stills. There is no way around it. If you CTB you will be found like that. It feels like a reality checkI saw my dead body dangling on the rope in my mind's eye. My method was full suspension and I watched hanging videos also just about two months ago.
I used past tense because I am not suicidal now.
