It's not my method but I'm curious. In some literature about ligature strangulation, the act is referred to as the tourniquet method - when the ligature is tightened via twisting with a dowel as opposed to a ratchet or other tightening maneuver.

Well, what if a literal tourniquet was used? One of these guys:

This has the added bonus of being funny because tourniquets are obviously used for life saving, plus if you've been trained at all in their use then you know that they always mention the neck as not an option for tourniquet application. Because what shouldn't need to be said often does need to be said. I've got a whole bunch of wrapped medical tourniquets from work, but I cannot find any lit online about anyone using one of these to ctb. I wonder if it might exist as recorded but that I'm not finding it because it's being overshadowed by "tourniquet method" related topics....

I done gave myself splitting headaches from doing LS, but SI making me take it off when head started to go numb
