Ligature strangulation not working

It doesn't work even though I do it like the video and the thread about it, it doesn't make me pass out only makes my vision got a little bit blurry, I am making sure it's on the carotid arteries and it is exactly like the video, doesn't work, help

The title says ligature then you said you're using both hands. So you're trying to find your sweet spot with your hands? I used to practice ligature strangulation with various materials and it worked.

I didn't mean it like that sorry, I meant that I adjusted the shoelace with both hands trying to put maximum pressure

But I have tried with hands too it's just that it kinda doesn't work much

I also found it to be very unreliable.
I got it working once, but otherwise it just gives me a massive headache.
