I'm sorry, everyone. This isn't an important post. I'm pretty introverted, so I don't post here very often. But today I felt I had to write, at all costs, about how I feel—and convince myself of what I want to do.
I have never liked existing. I have never liked living. For as long as I can remember, I have felt that living is the most extreme, cruel, and evil punishment that can be inflicted on a living being.
I was always taught to avoid even thinking about death, but to me, death is the key to NonExistence. Death is the reward that frees us from all the agonies life inflicts upon us. Death is compassionate, unlike life, which seems to take pleasure in torturing us and causing us pain.
Every day, every minute, every second is constant suffering. I suffer from significant chronic pain that torments me every single moment, but it is nothing compared to how much it hurts to live.
I am certain that after death, everything ends. No physical or mental pain, no worries, no rules, no one who can violate your dignity, no consciousness—absolutely nothing. Absolute nothingness.
I keep wondering and worrying that this might cause me suffering. But it is a stupid question. All of life is a continuous, constant suffering. And how much longer must it last? Time is not a good friend. Before gifting you to death, it demands an ever-increasing tribute. The further you go, the harder it becomes.
So, what are a few dozen minutes of pain if the prize is non-existence?
