Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Schopenhauer said that life is like a pendulum that swings incessantly between boredom and suffering, with very rare moments of completely illusory joy.

So real. Life just feels so weird. I assume somethings not right as Ive had a deja vu every single day for the past month or two. Crazy shit is happening for sure.
Yeah, I get you. It's really strange. Sometimes, I don't feel like I'm here and I am convinced everyone else is fake/an existence to deter me from finding existence
But
I find it ironic that you and the guy below you has a Lain PFP lol
I feel the same way, detached from my own personhood and from the world around me. I don't know if it's a DPDR situation, or if the feeling is normal with depression, or even just kinda normal nowadays full stop--I could see how being online so much could inspire a sense of unreality. It's so annoying
How can it feel real when you have people making $1 million/month to let people watch them play video games. Or $5 million a month to kick a soccer ball through a goal?
do you really believe some entity is running the show in essence operate on a property of computability, that mathematically expressible rules determine the outcomes.
We do live in a simulation, all of us, it's inside our heads. The brain makes internal models of external conditions for navigational purposes. Those models are simulations which we take to be real, because they work. Regarding the fantasy that only you exist and we're just projections from your imagination, it is called solipsism and it is common in children and teenagers, rare in adults. Clearly it is a neurological developmental maturation issue and if you're no longer a child yet still think existence is only you and the rest of us are projections of your imagination,
