I feel like doing this more and more these days. I've been looking for awhile now and can't seem to find a good paying job to save me life. Just can't seem to get ahead.

I have! I got fired from a job because I used to drink constantly and I went into work hungover/still drunk once, plus I was super depressed and they could totally tell. So last time I was looking for a job I lied and said I left my job instead of that I got fired, so I didn't have to say what I got fired for. I got away with it and got the job too haha

You have to lie outrageously to get even a chance at an interview these days. And then you have to continue lying every day to keep your job. Another one of the many reasons I find it hopeless to even try participating in the giant scam that is called employment these days.

Yea, god forbid you have any kind of employment gap. It seems that's worse than a felony conviction these days.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean. I got my bachelors in 2008, right when the banks destroyed the economy for years and then robbed the little people blind with all the taxpayer financed bailouts. Needless to say that didn't help my already dismal chances of getting a career started in my field.

Not lie on CV but have an employment-related lie I currently keep up. My ex MIL is obsessed with me finding a job and sparing her child financial burden and me being a good smurf and doing my chores. I say I'm applying, when in reality I have a poison cupboard and a one way ticket. Fuckers truly think I will just go on like a robot. Don't worry, I'm not going to spend any more of your money.
