You might still feel pain with full hanging if you place the rope incorrectly. It might even be more painful than partial hanging, since you'll feel your whole weight on your neck. Train finding your carotid arteries beforehand. It's all about where the rope press on your neck, and it isn't guaranteed that you'll pass out fast.
I've had trouble trying to locate my carotid arteries.. I keep trying but do not get that passing out feeling.. plus I worry about the knot moving when I hang etc

I know how you feel. I have a hard time feeling my pulse (maybe my neck is too thick), and once I feel it, pressing it barely makes me feel anything.

Full suspension imho is fool proof. As long as the mounting point for the rope can hold the weight and as others pointed out , you are not discovered, there is no turning back. The rope should be relatively thick (mine is 5/8") and not stretchy. It does not matter if your arms are free, once suspended you are not getting out of it.

It is fool proof depending on where you do it. There is literally nowhere in my house I can hang that there is nothing nearby I can support my feet on. If I panic, I can easily stop my attempt.

Same for me, I wish I could somewhere in my home that I could do full..

Quick questions, would hanging from a shower pole be considered full? Someone mentioned it to me..
