I know it's not a good method, has so many issues, but I'm so empty that I'm considering it, I just feel like my SI would stop me before doing the jump

I'm wondering, if I wore ear plugs would I be less likely to get scared of the sound?

If you know it's not a good method, and believe that your SI would stop you if it came to it, then it's best to scrap that entire idea from your mind.
The outcome will likely be terrible.

I am speaking from my own experience. I had a method in mind, I knew it was terrible, and I knew that my SI would probably stop me from going through it all. I was feeling empty too. You can almost say I was a zombie. I went to the spot where I was going to do it, managed to only complete half of the steps that I had planned before my SI kicked in and I panicked. It ruined my life so yeh, it wasnt worth it. Take care <3.

I'm hoping I'll be able to be patient and wait for it all but I'm losing hope in being strong enough
I have sedatives and ear plugs so I'm just considering trying it at this point

death by train have high chance of mortality (80-90 precent), if you are not dead tho you are fucked

train is pretty loud so idk if ear plugs would help as much. try to make sure that your head will take the hit first

Train suicide is not a guarantee. I've seen some studies claim 20% survive, some claim 10%. I survived. I'm lucky I'm not signficantly disabled in any way, but most survivors are.

10% are very bad odds if those odds also come with permanent lifelong disability. Definitely not recommended, too large a chance to survive, and if you do, too large a chance to be significantly maimed.

Me neither, I would advise against doing it. You should think it through more. You sound compulsive, that's not a good thing to act on when it comes to life changing decisions.

Do you know which train and which point you'll be at? how fast it's usually going? where you'll stand/lay/jump? how you'll ensure that you won't panic? How to avoid being spotted/stopped?
There have been cases where people have lost limbs attempting suicide by train and ended up surviving because the train missed their vital organs.
I'm not exactly sure how they did it, but it does sound like it was done out of compulse with no planning whatsoever. Please take a break and think everything through. Dont do anything that you might regret later on.

I live in the countryside so access to rails is easy and there isn't cameras on the rails, there's also trees close to rails so I could hide there, generally it's a solid way to go, I just feel guilty that I bought SN for nothing haha
I only don't know if I'd have to do it by decapitation or by going in front of the train right as it's about to pass

Why a train over SN? Sorry, u dont have to answer, Im just curious because a train is violent compared to SN. I just assume that people go with the least violent way out.

I guess I'm just tired, I have to wait more than a month for SN to arrive, I'd have to celebrate birthdays and face family and pretend to get better, and I can't handle it weirdly enough, it's already a lot that I've survived a week in this state, never eating and only laying in bed without energy, I keep hoping I could fall asleep and not wake up, every morning when I open my eyes I have breakdowns and meltdowns,

I believe in an afterlife, so dying wouldn't end my life in any way, just take me somewhere better.. Which I hope for

My SN will arrive in over a month, which I'm unsure if I can wait that long, that's why I'm considering the train
