I hope they will talk about this method soon because I'm so bad and this collar could be interessant. In the photo we see the doctor in front of an audience, so why do they say "coming soon" ? The conference has already taken place. Why can't we find any Exit member here ?? I know they have their own forum but it's only for 50+ people.

I was looking at this the other day. It basically looks like bags are inflated and pressed against the carotid artery to cut off blood flow to the brain. Similar to a rear naked choke in jiu jitsu/mma. I imagine it feels like the device they when getting your blood pressure taken except around the neck. Getting enough pressure at the right spot seems like the biggest sticking point but it doesn't seem like it should be that hard.

I don't know what the inside of the device looks like, but if it wraps around the entire neck that is no bueno - then it's no different than other brute force methods like night night where pressure is applied to the entire neck.

This seems to be modeled after the KRA Cuff, where air bags are inflated at the sides of the neck. A right to die organization in Canada also developed something similar called the Fatal Faint collar - although much like the subject of the OP, there is no information out there about it, just a picture.

There is quite a bit of info out there about the KRA Cuff though.

Yeah, the whole "coming soon" language around it is just so corporate-sounding. And yeah, fuck him, it's not like he's going to ever have to worry about finding a peaceful method should he ever want to CTB himself. He or his rich friends, investors, shareholders, etc. Exit International might be registered as non-profit itself but non-profits always find a way to actually profit through things like grants and contracts, skimming donations-with the added bonus that they don't have to pay taxes. They are great to launder money through as well.

But 1. I am always skeptical about this stuff and 2. I am probably just jealous too

Recently I read a report about a young male who used sphygmomanometer to CTB. But some people have long necks and some short ones, so I don't think it will work well for everyone. But I might be wrong.

It's not really a new method, because back in 2018 Exit International already made a prototype of a collar using 3D-printing technology. The idea was that by tightening two plastic screws, pressure could gradually be applied to the neck until consciousness was lost due to lack of oxygen to the brain. In practice, though, the pressure couldn't build up fast enough to achieve the intended physiological effect, so the design wasn't developed any further.

Now they're working on an improved version. Part 1 is already included in the Peaceful Pill Handbook, and it's just a matter of waiting for Part 2 once the development is finished. When that will be, I honestly have no idea.


Once the Kairos collar is fully developed, it should be a simple device capable of applying the intended pressure.

The Kairos collar uses two inflatable balloons held in place above the baroreceptors. Once properly positioned, the balloons can be quickly inflated with compressed air up to approximately 70 kPa.

A T-shaped connection is used to quickly inflate both balloons simultaneously. Equal pressure is exerted on both within 0.1 seconds.

The Kairos collar takes advantage of several known physiological responses to rapidly reduce blood flow to the brain and thus reduce oxygen supply to the brain (cerebral hypoxia).

By simultaneously inducing a low heart rate through disruption of venous return and neural control pathways, blood flow to the brain via the carotid artery is restricted, thus simultaneously causing blood alkalosis (insufficiently acidic blood). This creates an ideal situation resulting in a peaceful and safe death.

Technically, the Kairos collar requires accurate location of the pressure points and rapid application of pressure. A positive aspect of the Kairos collar is that, unlike most other methods, it can be practiced beforehand.

With someone nearby, you can use the Kairos collar to inflate the balloons and then test whether you lose consciousness. Ten seconds of pressure can produce this effect. Consciousness can be quickly restored by quickly deflating the balloons. This ensures there are no adverse effects from such an exercise.

Applying pressure to the carotid arteries is also the basis of the popular judo choke hold. In judo, the opponent's arm is used in a "V" formation to apply pressure to the carotid arteries while the opponent's breathing remains unimpeded. A correct hold can cause fainting (syncope) within seconds.

Before The Peaceful Pill Handbook publishes instructions on how to manufacture the collar yourself, testing is essential. This testing is currently being organized and is tentatively scheduled to take place in Switzerland—the only country with legislation that allows Exit International to produce the collar and then legally provide it to someone willing to participate in the trial.

The collar cannot be legally manufactured and sold; it must be a DIY (do-it-yourself) project. However, Exit International states that this won't be too difficult. There are no restricted components, and the collar can be stored until needed, as there are no shelf-life issues. If it's DIY, its use will be legal and unrestricted.

Details of the testing results will be shared as soon as they are available.

In February 2026, he announced that a Dutch woman had volunteered as the first human test subject and that the initial real-person trial would take place in Switzerland. Nitschke described the device as "fast, reliable, drug-free, and importantly, unrestrictable."

However, as of the end of March 2026:

No confirmed human test or death using the Kairos Kollar has been publicly reported.

Exit's own communications state that the device is still in the testing phase.

Critics, including rival right-to-die organizations such as Pegasos and former Exit staff, have openly dismissed these announcements as PR stunts designed to generate revenue at a time when methods (such as Nembutal) are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain.

So, it does look like a bust/scam. Based on the article, it seems so too. It's inexpensive and DIY, yet, it uses AI for death. Doesn't sound DIY nor inexpensive. Smells of BS. If it were inexpensive and DIY then it would simply be a manual 'Night-Night' collar that we could secure in place and press.

Whenever Nitschke and Co use this phraseology
it generally means that the next WONDERFUL NEW DEATH MACHINE ....didn't work, is illegal,
they couldn't copyright it and raise funds; or, as stated by critics above that it's bait to keep us glued to their emails.
For 25 years we've watched the degradation of Nitchke's profferings, from effective solutions such as providing local contacts within Australia, to 3rd world hook ups for Nembutal in a chapter of that book that reads like an early Lonely Planet.
Next was selling 2nd rate Chinese re-stickered regulators & beer cylinders at a significant markup, now costly membership fees that tell us nothing new.

we were offered .........................................THE SARCO.
The all in one nitrogen delivery device that doubles as a soigne coffin. Very 21st Century Phil.
Moreover, it was initially touted as an artifact that could be 3D printed, by whom we are not told.
I ask myself why, with high tech instant death at his disposal, an associate attached to the SARCO who had come under the scrutiny of the Swiss authorities leaped from a 3rd floor window instead of using one of these jet-skis to make a royal exit on Lake Geneva pushing the code on the screen as fast as able?

Doctor Phil again states in an Exit Intnl email that as with the Sarcophagus, the Collar from Cairo is printable on a 3D printer. Being modest of size and simple of design, the implications were clear.
But now we are obliquely told that there exist 'developmental' obstacles.
Or, are they examining the obstacles for commercial exploitation, & still getting it under the legal wire?

Sell it as a copy of a WW2 MI5 killing device for collectors?
Engrave it with heiroglyphs & sell it as King Tut's member- ring that he wore in the SARCO to keep him firm in an afterlife rich with concubines!
YAWN......or just keep selling the same old banal & irrelevant history books, tarted up with promised potentialities.
Given the options for ending human life are categorised, researchable, & available if one is prepared to venture to parts of Africa, Asia,or the Indian subcontinent, Nitschke's marketing brings to mind the methods of contemporary pharmaceutical companies.
Dig up some expired patents, rebrand and market them as 'possibilities' that could one day right our existential wrongs, in the comfort of one's lounge.
