Both sn and nitrate are listed.

You may have been ok last year but their is too much publicity now. If you own a company that uses it, then you might get it. If you import privately you have to obtain a domestic license and be prepared for control checks.

You can of course still take the risk.

I'm fully aware and I've posted this exact link in this forum before. Controlled substances apply to domestic sales - buying from a UK seller. It doesn't apply to overseas shipments. You said it won't be allowed through customs with such certainty so I thought you had better proof.

In the UK you cannot as a private individual buy sn. You can if you are a business or have a license. It doesn't matter whether it is a domestic purchase or another country outside the EU. As they will only sell in EU. It is listed on the PIC list. What would make you think you can buy from abroad as an individual when UK requires the buyer to be a business?
If someone is fudging the declaration then maybe you will get away with it. But if it is coming in as nitrite you run the risk of scrutiny and confiscation if you cannot produce a relevant business setup. With the joined up police action on purchasers of sn, its a foolish risk to take.

The NHS even strictly control sn - only usable for cyanide poisoning as an antidote
