How could it f up your plans?
I currently live at home with parents (due to living arrangment circumstances changes from last December/beginning January 2020), and with the virus going around, there are a lot of places closed and travel is limited. My method is stored in another store, far away from where I live, so I cannot easily travel to get it. Plus, if I am leaving the home and given that my parents are around almost all the time and do keep a close eye on what i do, it would raise a red flag as to why I'm suddenly leaving the house if there is no good reason. Therefore, I'm hoping and waiting for the pandemic to pass and things to go back to normal so that several things can happen:
1) Parents go out of town (after the virus stuff has subsided).
2) Events are up again so I can travel out of city more.
These two conditions would open up a window of opportunity to retrieve my method. Until these two conditions happen, I won't be accessing my method anytime soon. I know this might sound trivial, but everyone's personal circumstances are different.

The main thing that I am worried about is that I won't be able to go back to work for a while if I get infected, because I work around people who are more vulnerable to the corona virus on a daily basis. That would mean lost income for me, since I don't have enough paid time off available to be compensated for it if I have to be quarantined at home.

As someone who is immunosuppressed,I should probably be more worried than I am. But committing myself to quarantine at home is routine for me at this time of year anyway.
The rules are:
*There is no alternative to washing hands with soap and water, but hand sanitiser (with a minimum of 60% alcohol) will help while you are out and about.
*The riskiest place to be is a doctor's waiting room so don't go unless you absolutely must. If uncertain, call first.
*Money is probably the filthiest thing you can handle,so maybe try and use plastic instead.
*Keep things in perspective. Scaremongering is rife and the biggest kiler is stress. So don't stress yourself to death.
*It may be tempting to actually go out and try to contract the virus intentionally. But it's not a great way to go and you are risking a lot of important people around you too.
*Enough with the panic buying.Corporations and many other people are getting rich quickly off the back of your fear.
*This is not the zombie invasion/apocalypse TV has been preparing us for. Please don't kill your neighbours for fear that they steal your last tin of baked beans.
*Remember that the flu kills thousands of people every year even in the western world. There is a safe vaccine, but look how often it is rejected. You have access to the internet. Do your own research (try and avoid clickbait sites) combined with information from a qualified medical professional (a naturopath/chiropractor/homeopath is not a medical professional) and make an informed decision about what measures you choose to take to protect yourself.
*Obviously it's incredibly difficult financially, but please try not to go to work if you are sick
Realistically speaking,I'm sure most people on this site have many other much more important things to worry about.

I'm not panicking about it. If anything i'm more annoyed for different reasons about it like Grocery stores being picked clean, sports being put on hold (For good reason of course) and people like my mom constantly blaring C fuckin' NN and buying into the pandemonium panic and freaking out about everything. I'm honestly more pissed off right now than scared. Of course i'm not discrediting the Pandemic and know it's very serious, but some people need to calm down because freaking out isn't going to make the virus stop or go away.

I'm somehow simultaneously unconcerned and really freaked out about it.

I'm not worried for myself at all. Except for the fact that I may need to buy toilet paper at some point, I have no personal concerns. I'm not completely healthy, but I'm sure it would just hit me like a miserable flu at worst.

But my dad was just diagnosed with cancer and will need to travel soon for treatment. He's very sick and weak already. And he'll be flying, so that really scares me. He's definitely in the category of people who might not survive it. But not traveling isn't an option. They don't do the surgery he needs where he lives.

I'm very annoyed about the toilet paper. It's a real necessity in my house. I have IBS and overactive bladder/interstitial cystitis, my sister also has overactive bladder but she's also a germaphobe and likes to waste toilet paper by drying her hands with it. She keeps using mine (she abuses me). My mom (also abuses me) is stockpiling her own. I could only afford and find 5 packs. All the shelves are empty here. Most assholes around here are perfectly fucking healthy and never even heard of overactive bladder. I have used towels before that smelled like urine after, it's not pretty. All the women in my ibs and IC Facebook groups are freaking out, we need it more than the people hoarding it. I just hope they feel stupid for spending $500 on toilet paper. Supposedly there's no shortage there will be more, but that doesn't look like it. The shelves are always empty. I'm in west Canada btw.

There is nothing I'm able to do about it as a whole, so I'm choosing not to be worried. However, I am concerned with how people are treating each other. We're a society but lately it's been feeling like 'every man for himself' and I hope that doesn't continue as things progress. To all of those who have family members at risk, I'm very sorry and will keep them in my thoughts.

What we can do is take care of each other and follow the rules. COVID-19 is out of our control as individual humans, the decisions of the government are out of our control, but we can choose to be vigilant about our own personal health.

I'm not scared of getting it myself. I'm just scared that I will spread it to people who are vulnerable.

Same. But honestly, I think my grandmother would LOVE to die from coronavirus. She has been asking god to take her for the last 3 years, up until she could talk, now she can't even talk, but I'm sure she still asks god inside her mind everyday. She's religious so she would never entertain killing herself. She's a vegetable, she has to be moved around in a wheelchair, and transported from chair to chair, chair to bed, chair to toilet, etc. My sister and I take her to the bathroom everyday, my sister wipes her. My mom and the care-aids bathe her once a week. The care aids do most of the intimate cleaning stuff. So I am not worried about her. But I am worried about being blamed for getting others sick in my family. My mom is in her late 50's, will be 60 next year, she's quite healthy however she does catch colds and flus easily, I am not sure how she'll be able to handle this deadly virus. But for sure I'll get blamed.

It has already destroyed our vacation :(

I'm doing my best to stay quarantined from the rest of the world. When I go to the grocery store, I keep my distance from others. The drive-thru passes the food around the window so the employee is breathing on the other side of the glass.
