Jumping from Clifton Suspension Bridge

Hello, do you think jumping from the middle part of this bridge ie into the gorge will still be successful? Or will the water save me?
I know I have to climb over some wires and I've seen a video of others doing it so hopefully I should be okay, I'm just worried when I get there ill freeze and not be able to do it (I've tried hanging before and ended up saving myself after kicking the stool). Any tips for when I have to do it? I'm really scared that I wont be able to do it

This is actually something I considered a while ago, I was going to go to this exact bridge and jump. Unfortunately, they have barriers, cameras and security-type people so it would be pretty difficult to jump from it without being stopped. If you're successful getting past all that and jump, I think death is likely because it is high. People have successfully jumped, i don't know if this was before or after the barriers and the other things were put in place. My plan was to go where the barriers start (there are gaps), climb through and try to get towards the middle of the bridge and jump. I didn't know if this would work so I ended up giving up on the idea and chose a new method. It sucks they have barriers and cameras etc., because it's a beautiful place to ctb.

I can't order SN or N in the UK its virtually impossible, I've tried full suspension and don't want to try again, I'm worried partial won't fully work and was hoping that jumping would mean it would be over quickly

Yes I saw this, but I also saw a video of base jumpers who just climbed over it quite easily? And I know there's CCTV but didn't know about patrols, I'm aiming to do it quite frantically and quickly, I think I'll change my mind if I dawdle

I've seen that video too, if you're able to get over the barriers and do it quick (and not wait around) then maybe it will be possible to do it. You could always have a back up plan if things aren't that easy in the day. I planned on staying at a hotel nearby and then jumping from the bridge but if I was unable to, I would have gone back to the hotel and ctb there. I know I could have just gone to the hotel and ctb without even going to the bridge (which is now my plan) but at the time, I just really wanted to jump from there

I plan on partial hanging at a hotel which is 20 minutes away from me by train. I feel like this is the best option I have now
