Okay so on the internet I read that about 350 people jumped from nusle bridge in Prague, Czech Republic, before they added fences, and only two survived, one of which died on hospital, the other because didn't fall from high enough or landed on a tree/grass. The bridge is only 40 m (131ft) high, people land on concrete. Also only 2% of 2000 jumpers from Golden Gate bridge survived, which is 67m/220 ft high onto water. Therefore logically jumping from the bridge near my city, which is 70m/229ft high onto concrete should almost 100% guarantee death. On the news one person jumped from it and died.

Why go for a painful method when there are other viable and relatively peaceful methods?

The thing is I lack of a high anchor point for full hanging. I don't know if jumping is that painful. I don't know but don't car crash victims have endorphins which numb the pain?

No idea on it.
If you've forest near you, trees can be a good anchor point.

I live in France and am from Czech republic. I have Buddha in my profile picture because I am interested in the concept of Maya, impermanence, sunyata, but obvioulsy I am not calm and serene otherwise I would maybe not want to ctb.

The problem is... is death instantaneous ? Or at least unconsciousness, at landing. Or at least is there no pain and progressive unconsciousness from bleeding?

That's really nice that you are interested in these concepts. It's a good thing to be interested in philosophy and spirituality.
