Job hunting making me want to KMS

Hi All, I just did an interview where they pretended to love me, and then I got a rejection letter. I'm a dumbass because I should've kept looking for other jobs after the interview, but god I wish they didn't waste my fucking time.

I put my Bachelors in CMP SCI for office jobs because my clerical work was at my university, but I feel like I get passed up for being "overqualified." I can't even get a job in my degree because I have no experience and AI destroyed the job market. I'm in debt 40K for a degree I can't do anything with.

I quit my job at the warehouse because the medication I takes makes me more susceptible to heat illnesses/heat stroke. It was reaching temperatures of 110+ Fahrenheit in the warehouse. I had to quit because I thought I was going to die of a heat stroke, and I had unbearable heat rash all over my body. I got cooling towels, I'd put on baby powder everywhere at every break I had, drank A LOT of water, but I couldn't fucking bear the misery anymore. Stopped being able to sleep at night because the heat rash kept me up.

I have no job right now and can't find a new one. Anyone have advice? Should I get 2 part time jobs and buy health insurance? I'm kinda feeling super fucked. Hope everyone else is well though.

Similar boat. I went in for CS for college but couldn't find a job in the field due to COVID, and then of course, AI. I stopped putting my college experience in and simply listed my high school as education instead. I worked in die cast for a while, before quitting. After half a year I got a new job that I still do now as a driver.

I think for now, your best bet is to try to find full time employment unrelated to your field, and once you've got that going start to look into jobs in your field so that you still have that safety net. Also, if you can't beat them, join them. I tried to work at this place https://www.fleetai.com/ before but I wasn't in a good enough mental state to do so. There's other AI opportunities like this out there but Fleet I know is legitimate. While I never did any work for them they did pay me $300 just as a sign-on bonus. It doesn't look like they have any suitable openings right now though but you can try looking into similar companies though YMMV.

Any other remote opportunities? Data entry? Customer support? I've got a friend who makes Roblox games and makes pretty good passive income from that if you're creative, or maybe you can contract your skills to people who need them if you're not as creatively inclined like me.

There are employment centers out there as well. You could try looking into one of those and see if they could help you.

Hey! Thanks for all the advice and options; genuine life saver. I'll look into the stuff you mentioned. I was just stuck in despair, so i appreciate hearing from some one like you. Sometimes, it just feels good to know you're not alone.
