NOOOOOOOOOO I can't stop laughing but I'd be freaking out too if my house had mice plaguing it. I had one squirrel trapped in my room for about a week [he hid in this square hole in the wall where you could access the insulation] and every time I went to sleep, I'd hear the scritching of him eating at my ramen cups. Oh the sleepless nights
but they're great as pets!!! But having them as a pest is awful

Also I wonder what's up with the James Bond reference. Isn't that a ladies man from the crime movies ? Who always has a new hot chick with him. Like thanks guys I wishβ¦β¦.. I'm afraid who I really am is a lot more underwhelming. but somehow disturbing.
There's a cliche or trope in the movies that instead of just killing him outright, the villain always gets Bond into some elaborate, fallible and overly complicated death trap from which he inevitably escapes.
Don't mean to be negative but your scheme has serious JB death trap vibes to it
I can muster up 700$, trust me. It won't feel good, but I can.
Also yes I may have to source one locally! There's a few options I am exploring now. And when I finally obtain venomous one I'll make another thread !!
$700 for something with a failure rate of more than 92% doesn't sound like very good value to me but it's your money... You're clearly set on trying to give this a shot but the maths aren't mathing for me. It's expensive, has a high risk of failure and almost certain excruciating pain. It just seems like a bad idea on all levels.

Just kidding , watch for thread over the next two months. I think it's best to acquire the tank first, then the animal. But sure thing I'll move to Australia if I have to. I actually have someone I fancy there and want to say goodbye to.
and yeah , money is available I suppose because I'm able to " smart " my way into getting it. But can't outsmart my mental illness. Another thought is that it's actually a good idea. Not a bad one atleast. You're not negative though don't worry, I'm not easy to offend.
Thank you for you're words here.

I mainly said puffer fish due to the tetrodotoxin it contains. I have no idea what that would be like, this sort of method never really crossed my mind to be honest.
As far James Bond movies, most of them are pretty good, maybe start with Casino Royale, it's a good movie with less emphasis on fantastical spy gadgets.

That's very interesting actually. Puffer fish I may have judged to fastβ¦. But the lack of neurons in the brain of the jellyfish is appealing to me regarding traumatizing the animal. The puffer fish is enticing because it's aquatic though.
And hmmm okay. Casino royale , sounds very sophisticated . .
^ like the person said here , I think puffer fish is a bit unfitting for me, but will be a plan b or c, if necessary. It's good to always have a back up plan, but also want my breakthrough of ctb to be as personal to me, and cathartic as possible.
