Story I've always been this way

I think I've always been been this way. Not all of if but the suicidalness absolutely. I would try to ctb before I knew what the word was, I understood death though. I would choke myself at the top of the steps until I couldn't see, I was like 3 years old doing that shit and hiding it too. I know there's a lot of different reasons why a child would be suicidal and I'm open to answering questions, I'm mostly just curious if any other people on here literally always been suicidal?

i'm very curious to hear your story, for me i wasn't suicidal very early on but i always had self harming tendencies. i remember i used to pick at my skin or hit myself for some reason, and similarly to you i also used to choke myself when i was younger. i dont think i was intending to ctb or anything but i liked the way it felt

Always mentally ill, but I thought the future would be great. Though I despised a "normal" life of work and family. I ended up being nothing at all, a failed-to-launch manchild.
