Earlier this month, I made the shoelace ratchet that I'll be using for carotid compression. Just having it sitting on my shelf, ready for whenever I decide to go, has been a comfort and has lessened my anxiety.
But the weather's started getting warmer... I refuse to live through another Summer of climate change Hell. I spend 3-4 months of the year in misery, I physically can't handle the heat. It got to 75F/25C the last few days here. In April. That's just unheard of and it's already too warm for me at those temps. I have maybe another month before I can't take it anymore and CTB.
I do have everything planned out already, though. I still have to write my final letters, but that's all.
My landlady lives out of town and is the only person aside from me who has a key to my room, my roommates can't get in here. When the time comes to CTB, I will hide my key somewhere [to be determined] in the house. I will preferably CTB while my roommates are all at work, in case there's any noise.
I will set up Gmail to send copies of my letters and further instructions to my best friend 2 days after I CTB. The instructions will include the location of my room key, my landlady's phone number, what I want done with my belongings, where to post which letters, etc. I will also give them the logins and passwords for several sites and e-mail accounts that I use [NOTHING that is related to SaSu].
