  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I am the only person I know who doesn't have a full-time job. And I am not even joking about that.
Tomorrow will mark one full year since graduating college. Which also means one full year of unemployment.
I don't even talk to my friends anymore. I'm lucky if I see someone besides my mom even once a month. I don't want to hear how great their lives are going. I don't even want to hear how much they hate their fucking jobs. They don't know how much I would give to be in their position. I would literally do anything just to have a job I hate.
Right now, not even one single person would be inconvenienced by my death.

I know the feeling of seeing everyone "succeed". I wanna have the standard life of my age group too...

You've already graduated college though, which is an achievement you should be proud of, even if it hasnt landed you a full-time job yet. Idk the details about your situation, but with a degree in whatever, theres gotta be someone out there willing to hire you, whether it's a fancy company or a supermarket.

I had friends who didn't find a job until 2-3 years after they graduated. It's not impossible.

I graduated in a bad economy and didn't find a paid job until over a year later. Since no labs were hiring and I was able to live with family I worked as a volunteer in labs so that I could build up those skills until one of them took me on as a paid research assistant. I also found an SAT tutoring job eventually which did pay.

The sad truth is that the job application system is rigged against you and you're more likely to actually get a job by contacting people directly rather than filling in applications online.
