• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I want to kill myself a lot, and when it gets bad, I go on here, just cause when I am not faced with the decision, the most normal I can feel is reading about other people going through something similar. The worst thing is I always want to give other people healthy advice, even though I want someone to tell me they understand, and would like to help me get some peace pills. I want the relief for myself, and yet hope for other people. Why?

I think it's a natural response and one that I have as well. You want to see other people feel better even though you think you can't help yourself/be helped. It's a way to shift the focus from yourself to another. It's pretty common from what I've seen. It's the same reason why I'm here. I feel like shit right now but am browsing through replying to things like this to distract myself. You're not the only one.

I think it's a good thing. Trying to help others out of similar feelings of pain is noble. Many other people might lash out in rage at other people and make their lives worse instead.
