Suicide prevention is really just cruelty and enslavement, it's a way to prolong meaningless suffering, I find it hellish how suicide is always seen as something to prevent rather than accept as a very valid personal choice. There's no compassion in forcing others to suffer and making existence into a prison where one cannot peacefully escape, what'd be compassionate is allowing people the option to reliably die in peace, if suicide is accepted it'd prevent so much unnecessary suffering.
