would it be possible to go out with drinking a ton of isopropyl alcohol and then just passing out, perhaps even forcing yourself to lie belly up, so if you throw up you'll just drown in it?

Sounds absolutely miserable and extremely unreliable but sure.

If you need a ton of it to have effect, it would be much more viable to just get drowned in it.

Quoting:
"Isopropyl alcohol, via its metabolites, is somewhat more toxic than ethanol, but considerably less toxic than ethylene glycol or methanol. Death from ingestion or absorption of even relatively large quantities is rare"

Summary - not recommended as ctb method,

to me that doesn't seem very reliable. getting it down in mass amounts already sounds like a pain in the ass and if you survive it you'd just be in a worse state physically. i wish you the best

If there was an OTC way to die that wasn't absolutely horrible and unreliable we wouldn't be talking about SN here would we?

TBH - SN kinda is OTC, at least in my part of the world. Problem is with antiemetics, but SN itself? Took me like 3 days to get it form popular shopping page.

Yeah SN is kind of cheating the system lol. It's certainly over time becoming harder to get as governments crack down on it, though. It's hard to ban it outright though due to it having legitimate uses besides poisoning yourself.

Why would your roommate be opening your mail? Kind of invasive isn't it?

sometimes we accidentally open eachothers mail, we just grab mail. if we orderd something recently we just think its our package, sometimes we're wrong...

agree with others unthread. this is unreliable and you'll likely be in a much worse situation than right now. generally, aside from say, a rope, household things aren't recommended as a method for a lot of good reasons.

Could probably just tell them to keep an eye out for any packages with your name on it on the day of arrival.
