I abuse my medication so I can make it through the day without losing my mind. Nothing too crazy. Just enough to keep me sedated and somewhat hopeful till my next procedure. I never used any types of drugs before this and if I woke up feeling like myself again after one of these procedures, all the prescriptions would go in the garbage. What do you think?

You say you abuse your medications. Does that mean you take more than is prescribed per dose? Aren't you afraid you'll run out of medication for the month and have to wait a while for your refill? Sorry for the questions...I just feel for you and don't know how you do it.

No it's just that I mix them all up and if I run a little short I will buy some extra which I really feel guilty about. I had to beg these doctors to get me up to this dosage where I feel comfortable. They screwed me in the firsthand so I think they are least obligated to keep me comfortable while I try to figure this out. I was patient with them for over a year but they are either incompetent or don't give a damn. I don't blame people for doctor shopping either. If you're in constant pain or really uncomfortable in your own body than I would do anything to escape even for a few hours. Damn I would even be open to a medically induced coma while they figure this condition out, that's how unbearable it is. They should simulate what some of these chronic disorders feel like and expose these specialists to the symptoms and then you tell me whether you're willing to take a painkiller or an old anti depressant that's used for nerve pain

I'm sorry you're going through this. I feel for people who are in chronic pain.
