For me it's better being dead than alive so I won't bother anyone.

Hey DevilinHell667. If you can, post back to let us know how things go. :-) If you ever need to talk or the intrusive thoughts are getting hard to deal with just reach out. I suspect I'm probably in a completely different part of the world so it might be day here when it's night there but get in touch and I will get back to you asap! Good luck with the therapist! Take care! :-)

Why do you want to help me and why are you interested in me though? What should I matter to you? Normally people dont really care about one another so much

Because I think I can relate to your situation to a degree. :-) I think you are in a pretty awful place right now and I can relate to that. You seem like someone who feels quite lost right now and I don't think you should give up! I think you experiences have lead you to this point and I really do think that you will benefit from the right help and get the things you want in life. You seem to be doing well chatting with people here and I get that it's probably easier to talk to people online as apposed to in the real world. So I really do think you can socialise and have the friends you want in life if you can find the right path. Does that make sense at all?

I know you feel like people don't care. Maybe you haven't experienced enough care from people in your life so far, but you would be surprised how many people do care in this world. I hope all goes well with your therapist today and you can get some things off your chest. :-) I think they should refer you to a professional who can help you to get better. :-) Let us know how things go! :-)

She said she will come in on Tuesday. I just got a call for a job interview but denied it. I also want to learn how to code, but I don't know if I am smart enough

Hey I study computer science in uni.
If you are interested you should definetly give it a go.
There are a lot of ressources: YouTube, subreddits on reddit and many free websites.
Editors and compilers are free to download, you just need a laptop.

Programming isn't actually that hard, and you can totally just do it for a hobby and see how you like it. Don't worry if it's not for you, pretty much everyone is good at something, and you have lots of time to find that.

Btw, I recommend as @APharmaDestroyedLife mentioned considering something like meditation or yoga to deal with the mental shit. I started that when I was 21 and it helped immensely. Your therapist might suggest that, but incase they don't you could find some stuff online or something. The whole mindfulness based stress reduction thing is big in our country amongst psychiatrists because many scientific studies support it, it helps deal with some of these thoughts because you learn not to judge them and see them as they are.

Hey I did some coding, I was studying it at uni before I had to drop out. You should definitely try it as a hobby and it should give you plenty of opportunity to focus on something positive :-) I suggest you download Netbeans which is a software development suite. I mainly know a bit about Java and Python. So if I can be of any help with your coding just ask! :-)

I don't think there are any good reasons to die to be honest with you, the decision you have to make is one that you have to stand with forever regardless.. no one can make this decision for you or with you, all I can say is that you have to conciously think this through and make your decision based on a long thinking process based on your deepest and honest feelings, based on the outcome of said process I would then conciously and in a rightful state or mind make this decision to be sure that you are doing what you want to do, and not because a impulse is leading you to it.

Do the coding! It's such a good job. You won't regret it. It will also hopefully take your mind off things.

My notaboyfriend is a coder, it is good money and you don't need to be that sociable.

I would definitely give yourself more time for things to get better.

The main question you need to ask yourself is, "Do I really want to die?"

If the answer is no, and you're just feeling pressured into suicide, then I think you should reconsider and seek mental health treatment. If you're willing to put in the work and go through the pain to carve your life and your mind into shape, then your problems can be improved. Honestly, that's the case for most people.

If the answer is "Yes, I want to die regardless of the possibility of improvement," then that's all the reason you'll ever need, imo. We were all created on such a whim of a choice anyway. Someone wanted to bring another life into the world, or perhaps just wanted to have sex.

Ik this is an old post, and you could even be gone now for all I know, but I just have to say I agree! It should be up to each induvidual wether to ctb is the right thing for them ot not. For me personally it's the right thing as I've tried seeking help and recovering during my entire adulthood and nothing get's better plus my anxiety is just unbearble at this point. I tried, and that's more than enough for me honestly.
