Back in the days of the subreddit I corresponded with a woman. She made a serious attempt and would have died had some people not chanced upon her and rescued her. I don't know the details but it was clear that she would have died were it not for that chance intervention. She wasn't happy about surviving and I think she was too worn out to try again. She ended up becoming a substitute teacher and felt a real calling to it and decided to become a full teacher. She said that she felt called to be there for her students and reminded herself when she felt bad her students might have no othrr adult in their lives they could trust. So it's clear she found meaning for her life that she obviously would not have had she been successful. Last communication was a few years ago so it's possible that this meaning was not sustained or that she even ended up completing suicide. I don't know. But her story does relate to your concerns and shows that it could turn out as you say. Depends on the level of conviction you have as to whether it is possible. It takes a lot of mental work to try to rid youraelf of attitudes that tether you to this world.

I'm gonna miss the homies in twitch chat I hang out with every day. Ultimately that's not enough to keep me going, so.. later bois.
Also I think AI is going to become very interesting in the future, but it's not like I'm dying to know. It would have been cool to keep going and see where it gets us.
