Is stabbing actually that difficult?

I used to cut my neck when I was younger when I first started struggling with wanting to be alive, it was never deep but I told myself I was testing it for when I was ready

Now that I am I wonder, is it that hard to stab yourself to death? If I were to stab my neck, chest or anything would it really be that hard for me to die from that? And are there any decent methods that go with it?

unless you're having an extreme psychosis episode, its really difficult to stab yourself repeatedly until you achieve death. if you trid hard enough you might be able to do stab yourself only once before the pain makes you stop but that wont be enough to kill you

Blood loss is actually the #1 reason people die from any kind of injury. The only difficulty is aiming correctly the very first time, because pain prevents retries of deep cuts. But if you hit an artery and no one gets you medical help you are guaranteed to die.

I'm wondering if this is a relatively painless method of dying? It doesn't take a significant stab wound to hit an artery. I could probably endure that pain, however the problem is bleeding out. Would that be painful?

Your injury will be the painful part. You will quickly lose consciousness from loss of blood and that itself is not painful - if you have ever strangled yourself by compressing your carotid arteries it should feel like that. A concern would be survival instinct stopping you from hitting the right spot at the very last moment. Like someone else jerking your hand away.

The thing with this method is u will fail as its hard to stab yourself to death,so many things can go wrong and you be found and recovered,it would take serious mental strength after the first stab to continue to stab unless you feel 0 pain,so yes,it won't work,there is by far much easier methods,I won't say which as won't advice anyone how to die,but this method will most likely just leave you with scars possibly a disability or worse,brain dead in a vegative state unable to do anything for yourself anymore,a fate worse than death surely
