I'm considering my options here. I tried to do PSH but my SI doesn't let me at all. Is SN a good method in terms of peacefulness and/or SI? I've read the different resources on it and it seems doable (I live in a country where it's easily accessible). I'm just scared about the SI kicking in again

SI will most likely kick in, either before ingesting it or you will call an ambulance. Idk if it will be painful, it will most likely depend on how fast you pass out. I've heard stories of ppl who passed out before ten minutes, and others where it took 30 min. In that case you will probably be gasping for air a lot. Hope that helps anyway...

Count on SI. It will be there with every method I'm pretty sure.

If you can get benzos that should help a lot. The SN experience seems to vary, we can't exactly be sure how peaceful or not peaceful it actually is until we take it.

Joe Winko made a video of him taking it. You can probably find it if you google. He seemed to throw up some and his body was jerking. It didn't look comfortable to me.

I don't get why SN is so pushed around here. Even the responsees in this thread say it's hit or miss. Ingesting chemicals that might not kill you AND destroy your body (which sucks if you survive the experience) seems like a clear method to NOT use, yet everyone's so keen on it.

Yes, SN has its nuances, but compared to other methods, it is the simplest and most accessible. I would like to consider better methods myself, but the only one available is opioid overdose - which isn't an option for me

That's the thing. if the protocol is followed correctly, you will CTB, barring intervention. That's why it's pushed.

Same with hanging, jumping, train, gun. It's such a long protocol compared to these other methods. I does seem like an agonizing method, the preparation, courage to drink it, the symptoms and how long it takes.
I also don't get it. Maybe it's just not for me or I haven't done enough research on it. I definitely would not take in consideration the word of people online about such a topic. The amount of incorrect basic information about guns here is very unsettling, this completely mines my trust in what a read in here.

What is the wrong gun info in particular that you saw on here?

I've seen a user write that shotguns are not reliable, I've seen one user saying that recoil would affect precision in a suicide attempt. Someone created a wiki with a section on firearms, it's (or it was, I don't know if they fixed it) full of incorrect information.
Just go to the firearms mega thread and read it, I read half of it a month or so ago, not gonna remember every wrong information. The OP of that thread said that it's pretty much impossible to get a realidade firearm if you are not American, I know this is not about the firearms themselves but it's incorrect and the fact that it's in the OP goes to show that a lot of people don't check basic information, Paraguay and Pakistan are very loose on their gun laws, Switzerland too but not as much. In Brazil and Argentina it's a matter of a lot of bureaucracy and money. Maybe I'm being too rigid, maybe people try too inform so much they end up having a lot o room for mistakes.

I'm not saying that everything on here is incorrect, not even that most of it is incorrect, just saying it mined my trust in reallying on information about things a know nothing about, and I think it's healthy for everyone to do so.
Sorry for the English

It doesn't seem agonizing based on what I've read. It's in the PPH for a reason. The protocol is long because following it minimizes the "agony." Jumping, train, gun are all messy and the SI is going to be higher (at least IMO.) Same with hanging, though not as messy. Hanging is just not physically feasible for some people.

Many people here think it's a silver bullet when in fact it's far from perfect

But if one doesn't follow the instructions properly, or does but a variable changes things, they might end up living in even worse shape.

I'm not trying to kill anyone's hopes here, just my personal opinion, mixing chemicals and hoping for the best isn't a viable option to me.

thats just it, it works.. its been proven to work time and time again. Very hard to mess up SN once u look into it, you are being very rigid in your thinking. But i get it cant trust what you read on the internet.

I was under the impression if you're found midway through and treated with methylene blue which most paramedics and EDs stock now you'd have way less of a chance of brain/body damage, as opposed to something like hanging 😳
