Hey everyone I just want to know if anyone has any info on this SN? I just got it in the mail but I noticed that it is clumped together like small rocks. I am able to take a fork and grind it up into powder. If I put it in water without crushing it up, it takes like 15 minutes to dissolve. I will include pictures. I hope this is not against the rules. Forgive me I'm new. I have not done a blood test yet.

I don't know loads about SN but that doesn't look like anything I've seen before.. Where did you order from? (Use an acronym, don't post the source)
I really don't know a huge amount about it but I think some of them come without an anti-clumping agent- so that could be why it looks like that. That said- I don't think I've seen other images of it like that...

I honestly don't know. Like others, I've never seen it like that. Is the whole container in pellets or just the top? Hmm....

I have never seen it in pellet form before. However, I believe you can get it in different forms. Does it say Sodium Nitrite NaNo2? Make sure it is NITRITE AND NOT NITRATE. Since you have opened the container (providing it is Nitrite) it will drastically reduce the shelf life from around 1 to 3 months. It will turn the Nitrite into Nitrate because of the exposure to the air. After that period the Nitrate will be of no use for ctb.
It does say sodium Nitrite not Nitrate. I just did the blood test and it really didn't turn brown. Afraid I got a dud.

Can you please post the link that says 1 - 3 months? I did my research and from a reputable site that manufactures SN (and is where I got mine from) it specifically states, "The shelf life of Sodium Nitrite is guaranteed 3 years after the manufacturing date. It is normal for Sodium Nitrite to cake or clump within 6 months of the manufacturing date". And don't forget, when Sodium Nitrite comes in a jar there's still oxygen and air in the jar even without opening it up. So what are you saying, that everyone's SN is bad in three months and we better use it quickly? So please provide where you read that it only lasts 1 - 3 months if exposed to oxygen (again, any SN that is in jars already has air in it even while it's sealed).
