I had no idea what a benzo is. Now,my doctor gave me a script for Lorazepam,.5 mg. Is this helpful with SN?? Thanks for any help!

The recommended dose of diazepam is 500 mg. So your recommendation 50 x 1 mg = 50 mg is wrong. Lorazepam is a short acting benzodiazepine, Diazepam is long and fast acting. This is the reason why Diazepam is recommended for SN and other poison or overdose methods.
Oxazepam is a medium-acting benzo and works for 8-12 hours. The highest blood level is reached after 1-3 hours.
